Put My Chains on Yesterday - The Easy Way

I've never quite understood the bungee cord thing. They aren't needed to keep the chain on the tire. They aren't strong enough to keep the chain in the same place on the tire. I've only lost one chain in 35 years of use. The side link broke on the outside. Very common on the Grader to run...

Mandatory service would fix the situation of a large variety of jobs being offered in the Military. For example, quit paying a civilian contractor to run the Mess Hall. Or run the laundry. Or guard the front gate. Etc., etc. Being a "in boots to just point and shoot" Soldier I take offense...

Do you have a thermal expansion tank on your water heater?

I've never clear cut any timber so my opinion is tilted. I don't like the end result that loggers leave. Your timber will look like a tornado went thru. Good trees will be damaged by falling the larger trees. The left behind debris is horrific. But, if clear cut is the goal, then you can...

I agree. Key on should have good fuel flow to the Injector Pump. If you do have, which I thought you said you did, then the Injector pump should build fuel pressure to the Injectors. Crack the line at the Injector while turning over the engine. Should squirt out fuel and release whatever...

That's very interesting. Big spread in the 62-64 age, I wonder if that has anything to do with waiting for Medicare? Am I reading this right that 29% of 70+ yr olds wait that long to retire? And would the large spread be skewed because of premature death?

Good stuff LD1. In rethought, I should not have used the OTR trailer example. The tandem suspension system is not the same as the trailer in this discussion. It is designed to equally apply the load to the pavement though. And the ratio carried by each axle will remain the same even though...

These incidents are "word salad". Commonly used in advertising today. I understand "unsprung weight" very well. In this discussion the only weight that doesn't have an impact on the axle's ability to carry it would be the tires/wheels/hub assemblies. Everything from the wheel bearings up...

I've never tested this mathematical theory with a scale. But mathematics don't lie. The design is to intentionally equalize the load on the axles. Until the oscillator reaches it's limit. Then everything changes. If this theory doesn't hold up, then an over the road trailer that slides the...
