    You can also burn them that's what I like to do. Use a chainsaw to make slots and plunge cuts into the stumps, pour a little diesel in and light it up. Time consuming, but cheap is what I like about it.

    I am at almost 300 hours now on the machine. I do sometimes use it at low RPM, For instance when I am using a post driver. I also prefer to keep my hand throttle set down so that I have more control of the tractor with the foot throttle. I try to keep my rpm over 1500 most of the time though.

    I would not want anything shorter than 48" on my 32 hp LS. It is really nice having that extra reach. On my Kubota if I get a set of forks they will be "60. I made a double hay spear with the spears on the bottom to double as forks, they are 48" and hard to see the end.

    Stihl 261 FTW! I run one with a 20" bar on mine which it handles with ease. As long as you keep your chain sharp it will cut through 18" oak all day. Get the 261 and you'll thank yourself for not having to carry around a heavy saw as well.

    It does not seem easy to remove the valve pump from the circuit or else I would be more tempted to try it. The feed and return are banjo lines that bolt to the pump. The problem seems to be in the valve pump.
