Bad day at local John Deere dealer. 5 tractors caught fire for unknown reason. Fire department was able to keep the building from burning.

Another hot and humid day here with more rain in the forecast. I tried mowing yesterday as the grass is getting knee high with all this rain. Ground is so wet the tractor is just making ruts and mud holes. Need to dry out.

Tornado watch for my area last night. We made out with just thunder storms. Had some heavy downpours through the night. Looks like a hot and humid week coming up. Stay safe all!

Morning all! The wife and I are half way thru a 14 day trip in Alaska, 7 days on a ship and 7more on trains and buses. first time on wifi since last Tuesday. What beautiful views! Will catch up with everyone later. Hope everyone is good.

Morning all! 58 going to 80 today. Starting an 18 day vacation today. Will be some traveling involved but hope to stay low key and just enjoy the mini retirement.. Can’t wait till Oct.2020 so I can stop for good. Prayers for all who need it, condolences for all who had a loss!

30 here with ice pellets falling. The driveway and yard are covered in about a half inch of white. Haven’t seen the salt truck yet. Will be staying inside till the promised 40 degrees later today.

Managed to get a few hours raking in yesterday. Was a nice enough day with slight wind. Not much going on today as we are expecting cold,ice and wind. I have tomorrow off for a holiday,wife might have to work from home. Oh well, loaded up the pellet stove and got it running. Spring in New England!

Woke up to about an inch of heavy slippery snow.Now the sun is out and it is melted off of hard surfaces. Should be in the middle 40's with light wind. Lows in the 20's still....come on Spring!

Put the snowplow out in the field till next year. Brought in the mower and took off the covers and belts for a pressure wash and cleanup. Will change the blades and lube it all up. Still have the snowblower on so not tempting the snow gods!

Mostly done cleaning up. Heavy wet slop. The ground is so soft I switched to the bucket and still dug up grass all over the lawn! Concrete drive was just a slippery mess. Town plow truck couldn’t move either, was spinning the whole time.

Looks like I have 10 or so inches. Wife will work from home and I dont have to go in till 11:00. Have a coffee and then tractor time!

45 here today got the tractor back from the dealer(50 hr service). The ground is so soft and wet I tore up the lawn getting it back into the garage. We’re supposed to be frozen around here till April.

29 here this morning. Looks like we got3-4 inches of heavy wet snow. Waiting for the town to come clean the road. I have all my driveway partially cleaned up so wife can leave for work. I leave 1/2 hr. Later. Will finish cleanup tonight. Tractor time!!!!!

We have 10 above this morning. Looks like we got 6-7 inches of wet snow. Used the tractor once ,used a shovel for final cleanup. Temps were nice all day @33,34.

40 here heading to low 50's. Spent 5 hours yesterday enjoying the foliage again. Still a few trees with leaves on so will have to do again. Going to take it easy today.

Only about 1/4 of what I will get usually.

I usually end up with 7or8 days worth of raking. The pile was so big one year my ck20 couldn't move it. The B2650 should push it deeper into the woods.

My foliage fun. 6, 8x12 tarp loads in the pile. Last year the pile was almost as big as my tractor. Going to be a long couple of weeks. Started in the 40's and now is up to 70 degrees.

Brought the tractor out and washed off the winter crud. Removed the plow and snow blower for the season. Added the weight box for now in case it snows again, will use the bucket. Still a month or so before I have to start mowing. Need to get the push plate painted before next season.

56 here this morning going to 80 or so. Started raking up some of the winter mess yesterday. Used muscles I haven't used in a while. Will do a little more after work. Going for hearing test to get prescription for hearing aid later today.

Put this up by myself 15 or 16 years ago. Used all 16 foot boards. Used a jig saw to rough out the holes for the lights. Roto zip bit cleaned them up with a jig I made. Still looks great after all this time. Poly on both sides before install and one finish nail into the joist every 16 inches.

Well. After 4 years and 490 trouble free hours I traded for a new Kubota B2650. More hp and a factory cab with heat and air conditioning. Will still keep checking in here and help with answers when I can. New pics coming next week when they deliver. Thanks for all the help.

I just removed mine. Was cleaning out the leaves and noticed the boards behind the gutter are all rotting away. Had to strip it down to the rafters. Never again. I will live with the drips and ice on the walk.

I have a 2006 with 426 hours on it. All filters/oils have been changed at the proper intervals. Mine puts out so much soot from the exhaust that the loader arm and air filter are covered in thick black yuck in no time flat. Are yours the same? Runs and starts fine even in cold unheated garage.

Bottom connection is made by cutting bottom hose and installing tee. Mine is a non factory Curtis cab.

The top hose goes on this adapter plate screwed between the flanges.

Anyone besides me ready for winter? I just hooked up the blower and wired up all my lights. I just have to open the heat valves and install the doors. We have had snow as early as next week here. I also see snow forecast for Colorado. Anyone else ready?
