Good morning!!!!

55 out this AM. Crazy winds kicked in around midnight and appear to have brought the warmer weather in. Heard an outbuilding roof flapping about. Sounds from life on the farm. LOL. Will go inspect when the sun come up. Looks like I'll be a roofer for today.

Hope everyone has a great day, be safe.

like many of us unseasonably warm this morning, 59 going up to 71 today, rain coming in around dinner time.
Just a great day to work outside. Though outside in my case is in the barn working on machinery with the doors open.

Yesterday was greasy, dirty work. Stripped down a 30 year old mower and scraped accumulated glop off it.
sprayed it all down with Gunk, then plugged in the small electric powerwasher, and was rewarded
for my good deeds of loaning it out. Sigh.
The last person using the little AR powerwasher broke the pressure hose, patched it with electrical tape (and you know how well that does against 1000+ psi.
So instead of cleaning off the mower, I got a faceful and absolutely drenched when I pulled the trigger and the hose hole was perfectly lined up with me in its sights.
GRRRRR/
I don't care about people breaking things, but gosh fess up and don't try to hide it. Like I'm not going to know? I think one of my friend's neighbor's used it.
Oh well, 25 bucks for a new hose. Likely the replacement will be better quality than the oem; these inexpensive powerwasher hoses aren't very sturdy and when kinked can
break pretty easily.

I bought this little powerwasher for something less damaging to clean machinery vs my GX390 powered Northern Tools washer that is a real decal eater, even turned down.
Now that machine will never get loaned out, since this little one was designed to be the loaner. For good reason...

neither a borrower nor a lender be...

47 and windy here. I also have something flapping in the wind out there. Sounds like a piece of latticework broke under the deck. Will check when it gets light out. Need to clean the pellet stove chimney today while it's warm out.

Daughter loaned out pressure washer and it came back with approx. 20 holes in it. I believe a dog had chewed on the hose. Replacement hose was simple to attach and fit perfectly. Neither a borrower nor a lender be!.

I had to chuckle at this, review online for replacement 23 dollar hose. It appears we reached the same conclusion.

Letting someone else drive my tractors is always challenging for me. You know, like how about letting the tractor come to a stop before you
stomp on reverse?....Or wait an extra second for that non synchro trans to not grind. Basically slow down and think. good advice for all of us...
I just have visions of someone digging in a dirt or stone pile with my hydro left in High range...producing a symphony of odd squeals and groaning pumps.
And then things that give up, go bang and dribble dribble.
Actually my next door neighbor, the fireman, is very careful and takes very good care of his equipment. And mine.
My other fireman helper is a little more ham handed, and that motor is revving a lot more than when I use it.
A lot of caffeinated sports drinks and testosterone in the air when the firemen come to work.

Part of me wants to lend my pristine Massey to my impoverished drunken farmer neighbor, whose old JD is long past its last legs. And leaks diesel fuel everywhere.
The tractor is likely tough enough he couldn't hurt it. And I could learn how to use "real" farm implements.
And it would have to be in the morning when he was sober.
Of course the other part of me asks
loudly ARE YOU NUTS?
So far, common sense has prevailed.

Good morning 32 with a high of 36 today. Off to my exercise class for an hour then to Docs office. Thanks for the well wishes Pop. I borrowed my friends power washer and it blew the hose soon as U turned it on. Cost me 78.00 plus shipping to use it. So I bought my own.

Good morning. With the high temps and rain all day yesterday I accomplished nothing.
Temp this fine morning is 28F, shooting for a high of 28 and the wind is calm. At least the rain stopped.:)

Drinking first cup of coffee. 50° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 69° with lots of sun. Little cleanup today from weekend rain and winds. Lots of palm tree branches on motorhome and patio. Not much else planned.
Good Morning All.

46° here at the farm. We had high winds last night, glad the power stayed on. High was near 70° yesterday.

Today will change fuel filter on L5030. Was looking at it yesterday, engine is dirty and needs a good cleaning.

We didn't get that warm on this side of the ditch, around 60, mid 60's today, mid 50's now and breezy. Going out to make a deck pad for a friend's sofa, then work on my front lift on the CC 3208, then start gathering enclosure materials, gonna build me a cab.

Good morning! 64˚ 99% humidity. The temp will remain in the 60s today as the light wind is from the north. Time to take down the Christmas decorations and bury the cow. Need to hook up the grapple.
