Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low was a surprising 14.2C and it's presently 16.8C, overcast with a wee breeze & some rain. There was 1.5mm in the gauge @0900.

What a great meal last evening. The hotel dining area was packed (remember, it's Winter down here) and the 'Thursday special' was BBQ ribs. They were so good, two racks, and falling off the bone. After finishing I excused myself to visit the restroom to wash my hands & beard.

The "Mad Agisting Horse Woman" + her Daughter have just loaded up her horse float to head over to Scottsdale for an Endurance Race that the Daughter is riding in.

Nothing really planned for today... that's about it, take care all.

The report from my friends was that they didn't get any real hiking in as they were carrying on to catch the ferry @ Devonport. It was just a stop, look around, touch some actual snow and go.

Like many places in the world, Tassie has some very interesting and humourous 'names'. My favourite is down South and is opposite sides of the same very steep 'hill'. One side is called "Bust Me Gall" and the other side is "Break Me Neck".

The dinner sounds delicious!

I enjoy the stories of "Mad Agisting Horse Woman", in part because I had to look up the word and loved it. So, she and her daughter are off to the "Jolly Lette Memorial Ride"?

Our local club is the "Portland Endurance Riders Club Inc" and I typically get asked to 'man' a checkpoint. Also (for scott_vt) a State Amateur Radio Club also attends these events to supply rider information, as they pass = "number 15 has passed checkpoint #2", in case someone gets lost.

Good evening all. 73ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light wind, afternoon buildups, and high temp was 93ºF, HI 100ºF. Made coffee to start day, office work, bike ride, fish club work, nap, fish club meeting. Sinus pretty much have quit draining . Forecast for HHH event not as hot as last year. Not sure how much posting time will be available.
Ron glad PT went well. Good to hear the bad thermopane glass replaced. Hope you can get to back field today. Nice crane pi.

Poured hot cup of coffee. 54° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 80° with partly cloudy skies. Grocery shopping went good. Got tractor out and cut back field grass. Today I will need to cut grass around buildings again. Got a couple of amazon packages to assemble. That should finish off the day.

Glad you got it going. Some carbs have a solenoid valve on the bottom to shut off flow in case of turn over.
I have just taken them out and cut the little plunger, defeating their purpose on our flat land. You can get them on Amazon cheap if we are talking about the same thing.

This one seems to act as an on/off switch. Opens to allow fuel, closes to shutoff fuel and kill engine.

showered, shaved, put my nice clothes on and ready for the day.
drinking my coffee, reading my "lines" for later.
At 98 my MIL was last of her generation, wonderful she had such a long life.
My Mom died of cancer at age 55, Father at 65.

these folks, like Buckeye with his Father, have been blessed to have the love of a parent for so long.

can't remember last time I was at the Plumsteadville Inn, circa 1753.
one of many old colonial Inns in the area at an intersection of major roads.
Some torn down, some restored at huge expense to meet current codes.
nice that this place put in a rear portico for letting off passengers out of the weather.
not eating off the menu, getting chicken something, hopefully not rubberized.

66 outside this AM, should make it to 80. Cloudy, yesterdays rain amounted to less than a drizzle.

Today I'll close out some real job stuff, more chaos, but we have a handle on it. We think. LOL. At this point we are beyond reasonable process thinking and doing, so it is do as you go. See what happens next.

On the home front, looks like a fuel run is in order this AM and grasses attention later when the sun dries stuff up. The radiator on the tractor needs some special attention, lots of clogging on it that a compressor will not clean. Will have to research chemical solutions. Open to suggestions here.

Good morning everyone. Not all that cool overnight here and in the 60's now plus a shower passed through.. We planned to head back to northern MN Saturday morning but now we have a ill puppy and might have to cancel travel plans. High for today is in the upper 70's which is pretty warm for us.

We go there often for family events. It is unremarkable, bordering on expensive for the quality of food, but it’s nearby.
