Good morning!!!!

35 going to 54 and the rain stopped. Never got any sleet or snow yesterday.

BEF, good luck with your dad.

Painted some bluebird houses yesterday. I let the cedar houses go natural, but these are pine ones my wife got from the Eastern Bluebird Rescue group. Will try to get these up today, adding to what we have, and maybe replacing one that has seen better days. The bluebirds are actively checking out nesting sites now.

I must say, Olympic Curling is mesmerizing to me.

up early, enjoying a first cup of coffee, pondering what to do today. I know I have those potatoes to plant. 45 out now, heading up to 61 in clear weather.

12 puppies for that mom St. Bernard? Wow...that may be normal but it's still amazing. Must be hard taking care of them all.

I guess I have another 50 pounds of potatoes to cut up, but hands are puffy and sore this morning, maybe tomorrow for that. For someone with the equivalent of constant carpel tunnel, all that hand work mounts up. Am back to slobbering topical pain killer cream on parts of my wrist and elbow each day, helps for awhile. If I had those greasable zerks....

So this morning I will spend time dropping taters in furrows, while pondering on a Sunday morning the bigger issues of life.
I pray in my garden and with such a big garden now, well my church has grown...the entity I'm trying to reach doesn't care where I am.
Front pew with the peas. Rear bench with the taters... All good.

27here right now. Looks like we got more than we asked for. At least 4 maybe 5 inches on the ground. To early to make noise now. Will go out and run the tractor around 6. Time for coffee and TractorByNet!

Brushed the snow off. Will be in the 60's in a couple day's. Love this NH weather.

Planting in Feb. I can only dream of that. Here planting in Feb requires a jackhammer.

Good morning Phil. You're just sitting there waiting for light to come out, to get in that nice warm cab and go do what used to be a chore.
And now is fun!
Well until you get to the shovel part.
I had 64 years of snow. That's quite enough.
though we had a six incher here this winter that was impossible due to no plows whatsoever. Well, it took five days.

I never wanted to run machinery on a Sunday morning but also never felt that applied to dealing with snow. Folks have to get to places safely...and folks at church are working hard shoveling away so the little old ladies don't fall on the way in.

and speaking of snow, as we move through the last half of winter, if we can't get pictures of leaping snowmobiles, how about some snowmen? Er. snowpersons. Snowcritters

There ought to be a TBN coffee mug for best snowman made in the shape of a tractor or including one.

Now if we could see a picture of CWB's horse nibbling on the rear hitch of a JD 5 series snow tractor, in a heavy snowstorm, that would win a prize.
Same with Eric's sheep munching on the Fergie's front snow tire, oh dear.
Although surely in the running is a certain wife of a Colorado man who takes amazing pictures of him
working in front of mountainscapes that make it hard to even look at the tractor.
Winters a'wasting. Can't make a snow tractor in July.

now if someone would actually do this...

Good morning all. Dull at the moment and not too warm in the wind. At least it stayed dry enough yesterday for my wife to give the lawn a good haircut after lunch (Ed, don't you go reading hidden meanings into that :)).

Thomas, if you want your treasurer to look kindly on Kubota, take a trip to John Deere dealer and return with glossy brochures of far more expensive machines ;)

Waiting for second cup of coffee to cool off a little. 29° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 39° partly cloudy skies. Light dusting of snow last night. Just enough to cause our nearly blind dog to not be able to find her way around. Finally found the word she can follow back into house. "HERE" or is it "HEAR". Couple small cleanup projects for today. Then some afternoon NASCAR on TV.

Drew, no snow tractors here. But there is about 4" of snow on the ground where is was not cleared at one time. By the end of this week there will be no snow left on the ground. Even 5' piles in the parking area. But we still have at least 1 1/2 months of winter here. Our worst snow storms show up in March and April. Then still no planting until end of May. You should be harvesting some of your crops by the time I start prepping the soil.

Jay, glad you made it home safe. SB are big dogs. Way too big for us. We are looking for a dog to spend time with our Shih Tzu. While she cannot see well. She is in good physical shape for a 13 year old dog. Plays very well with our sons 5 year old dog. But they want to keep it at their house. :D

LS, hope the pain is going away.

Buckeye, hope your Dad figures out that $25 is better than $6K+.

Roy, and I complain about the garbage pickup people breaking the wheel off my garbage cans with there hydraulic loaders. I am afraid I would have dumped the whole load at the dump gate. :(

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning All.

Good morning all, 37 here going to 51, but the ground and everything is covered in ice. Had a rough night, coughing fits that kept going one after the other. Going back to the DR today and see if I have more than the flu that they said I did not have last time. Mom is due to be released to rehab maybe today or as late as tuesday. They insist that I need to go in and tell her before she is released but I am sick and it ain't going to happen. Afraid the DR is going to tell me I need to be in there too and that ain't going to happen either. No way wife can take care of the boy by her self.

Buckeye. Know how you feel to a small extent. Hard to deal with old folks when they are right even though they are wrong. The last few years we just do mom's taxes and don't even tell her about them. When she asks she gets mad because she did not get enough back.:) Prayers sent.

Drew sounds like it is time for you to start looking for land farther north.

LS, Prayers for your knee.

Prayers all around, Ed
