Good evening all. 56F this morning, windy and partly sunny. Clouds cleared off wind died down and temp climbed to 76F. 2 more nice days, rain starts Thursday night, along with cooler temps. Worked on transferring files to stepdaughters new computer, having permission issues with that. Went to a new bible class, then bike ride then missed out on nap. New fireplace insert should be installed tomorrow, and have some logs to split.

Got a police car sitting at the end of my drive with it's lights flashing. Road still closed, lots of vehicles still down at wreck site. Might be fixing guard rails, or cleaning powder cement off the road. Trucks haul bulk powder cement.

Where abouts in Maryland are you?

A very tired Good Morning from me today, following a night disturbed by the wind (not generated by me !). I first realised the predicted gale had arrived when I woke at 2:30 to find my wife putting tissues in her ears to try and drown out the sound of the wind whipping round the roof and rattling everything it could persuade to move. Eventually drifted back to sleep, then the dog woke me at 4:00am by barking and howling at all the commotion outside. No chance of a nap this morning, though I'll be lucky if I manage to stay awake until the sun has reached David(Sodomo).

41 here with rain. The wind sounds like it's going to take my house off of it's foundation. Gusting around 45 mph. Looks slippery on the road and driveway.

I much prefer to hear the drip of the snow melting off the upper roof to your roof music, Eric. Hope you get better rest tonight.

Funny, as a kid I never much thought about Corvettes. I always seemed to be fixated on big sedans like the Galaxie 500, or sports cars like the XKE, AC Cobra or Ford GT. But I do think it's great that the USA still produces such a nice sports car as the Vette, and I now appreciate their beauty.

Boy...not cold (about 36), but definitely icy roads! I turned around...probably give a try in a couple hours (or swap out my scheduled vacation day tomorrow for today).

36F now low 40's for high.
Driveway icy thought about sanding but more rain tonight also Thursday.
Sure glad were getting gusty winds at times for there a skunk somewhere close by.

Got some freezing rain last night. Temp 37° and going up.. Road reopened around 9:30 last night.
