Good morning and Happy New Year !

Time for me to take it easy today and put my feet up for a few hours without feeling too guilty, as most outside jobs have been put on hold thanks to the first good soaking in a long while. It's the best excuse to do nothing that I have had, err, all year !

This is the one I use. The probe on my original failed after about 8 months of use. Measupro sent me a complete new unit fast.

Best $20 I've spent.

Not quite what I had imagined, as the temperature probe has a cable coming out, but certainly no arguments about the price.

I was thinking you all had truly wireless devices. A quick search shows such things are indeed almost available MEATER: The Only Wire-Free Smart Meat Thermometer | Indiegogo

Actually that looks quite stylish, now who is going to be the first to try one and what would you first try it with ? Roast guinea pig anyone ?

30F snow flakes dancing in the air 1/2" snow fallen so far...mid 30's for high.

Plans for today...Little snow pushing,Remove plow from pickup.Quick trip to town for fuel and goodies,Watch little football....all subject to change w/out notice.

All TBN'ers may 2017 bring better health and more coins in your pockets.

Happy New Year all! We got about an inch of snow last night, not enough to fire up the tractor. Darn! Second coffee already done. Waiting for the rest of the house to wake up.

Happiest of New Year's, All!!

Didn't quite make it to midnight...but close enough.

35 right now, and that's about the high...temperature will drop a few degrees through the day, but not below freezing.
I'll clean the walks and deck...this is sweepable snow rather then a shoveling project.

No plans today...just watch some TV and laze about...it's my birthday and I can laze if I want to (apologies to Lesley Gore)

Happy New Year!
10F going to a high of 30. We got about 4" of snow overnight, I gotta go out around Noon and clean up the mess the Township plow left.

Coffee is done brewing. 56° with rain. Heading to 56° with rain most of the day. Nice evening at my sisters place. Not much planned for today. Eat leftovers.
