Good morning all, 66 going to 93 with am fog and then mostly sunny. The plan today is to take it easy and enjoy the day. Monday, will enjoy the shop again. Might go swimming for the first time today, will see.

Eric, I am thankful for our AC, we all remember when almost no one had it. We would open the windows at night and close the house up tight in the mornings. That helped a lot.

Mostly, Long hot ride, but I bet you had a big tired smile at the end. :thumbsup:

Poured first cup of coffee. 69° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 92° with chance of thunder storms in afternoon. Got air hose reel mounted and hooked to compressor. But the sweat was pour off me when I finished at 10 am. Spent rest of day inside with AC. Wife wants something to help with closing rear hatch on her car. May spend a couple hours in shop and make a handle for her to grab. It's that or pay for more finger nail repairs at local salon.

Mostly, good accomplishment. I plan on getting my bike out for the first time soon.

Randy, like the pictures. Where are the El Camino's?

Ed, I collected all tools that were not used on the jobs. Still using them in my shop 20 years later.

RNG, I have a lot of tools from Vermont American. Company I worked for made balancing machines for their saw blades. Surprised that Bosch bought them in 2000.

66 heading to the high 90’s. Not much planned for today. Might try to hang a shelf in the garage and clean up some mess/tools. All of you cleaning up has inspired me.

69 right now...high in the mid-to upper 90's today.

Made the dump run and got the haircut yesterday. While still relatively cool, I mowed the lawn although it was still pretty dewy.
Grill is assembled...need a couple minor replacement parts. Reason being, although it was "assembled" when I picked it up, most of the fasteners weren't tightened sufficiently and the **** thing fell over (it was secured to prevent movement). It's usable as is for the 4th of July though. I do want to test it today so I need to pick up a propane bottle
Also, I'll work on those other assembly projects if I can handle the heat

Roy, I can just hear the crash of that grill. And I'm sure a comment like "that wasn't nice" occurred...hope you get a wonderful steak or something grilled for the 4th.

food shopping this morning, then plant pumpkins, then guests showing up for a little bit.

Was out playing Frisbee just now and noticed something I hadn't seen in a long time...not a single jet contrail anywhere, and I get a pretty good view of the horizon in all directions...also didn't see any flying over on the way to DC and NY. I know Sunday morning is a quiet time, but because it is so quiet, I can usually at least hear one high overhead, and then locate it many degrees forward of where the sound emanates.

94 degrees today, better here than Chicago.
21 folks shot in one day, two dead, 11 year old boy shot in leg, mostly gang violence.
High summer heat is never good in the inner city.

Hope Andrew is doing ok, always enjoy hearing from him.
Not like many of us are going to make it to Croatia.
or New Zealand.
but maybe, just maybe, to Shropshire.

I wonder if we have any members from South America? Why none from Mexico?
Canada is well represented, but why not South Of The Border?

Already 73F upper 90's for high.

Mow the front field last evening just enough day light than Mrs.and I wet to dairy twirl. :licking:
Plans for today...quick trip to town for gas and critter food,little weeding around cukes plants,mower deck good cleaning,most of all staying cooling.
