68F and partly cloudy @ 11:15, predicted high for the day is 75F. Rain due in tomorrow with a big temperature drop after it arrives. Tuesday's high predicted to be only 56F.

Managed to get almost all the grass/leaves cut and blown into windrows yesterday ... front, back, and sides. Have to pick them up today.

Really not all that many down ... hawthorns and dogwoods are bare ... and there are a couple of maples that have lost most of their leaves but most of them are still hanging on.

Blades really need changed out, will have to sharpen the spare set and stick them on.

With the cooler temps this coming week may try to get some firewood split, assuming it's not too wet.

72°F and no rain last 24 hours

Going in for last hours of the military case lot sale. Not that we have a shopping list of needs but is often fun to see what is left at ridiculously marked down prices. Our stuff is shipped over from Pearl Harbor and they don’t like to ship back so Sunday morning can be source of bargains. My problem is I tend to overbuy which is a good reason not to go during the main sale days. Years ago, I’d volunteer to work the first day for which the privilege would be ability to shop the hour before officially open. Had some items stay on our pantry shelf well beyond the expiration date. No more.

My foliage fun. 6, 8x12 tarp loads in the pile. Last year the pile was almost as big as my tractor. Going to be a long couple of weeks.
Started in the 40's and now is up to 70 degrees.
