Good morning!!!!

We are already at our daytime high of 34. There is either more rain or snow coming. I would rather have snow, but I will take what I am given as if I have a choice.

Roy, a little 'power nap' in the middle of the day does a world of good.

daugen, get them all out and there is no more bargaining. :)

lennyzx11, I am with you. I would rather run at night.

57 going to a record 81, so they say, and then thunderstorms.

PJ, that rooms looks very inviting and comfortable.

Lenny, you have such a beautiful view of the lake, you'll love the changes...plus Drew's idea of a trip to the tractor dealer sounds good, too.

I went to our Kubota dealer yesterday...I have a small leak out of the left rear axle seal...wow, $200 just to transport the tractor, and then $600 plus parts and hope it is just the seal that is bad. Since I was there, asked about what hydraulics were needed to get my FEL grapple-ready...need to talk to a salesman, who was not available...so expecting a call back...they will want to propose the work including the grapple, too. I need to spend some time on the Attachments and project forum checking out grapples and DIY hydraulic plumbing projects. It would be nice to add rear remotes, and then run the grapple from that, but not sure that works.

RNG, looking forward to going over to the Drought thread and catching up on the dam and the drone video.

39F now might reach 60 on/off showers.

Wonder if March will come in as lion or lamb.

Enjoy the day all.

55 out this AM. Recovery mode from chainsaw work most of the day yesterday. Had to take out a blue spruce under my power line to the house, the wind got it and the root ball started to show. That was fun. No bzzt involved. Had the power company top it for me so I could drop it. Then went and cleared around barn silo. Sheesh..... that area has been neglected for a long time. Like 20 years or so. So lots of brush trees and poison ivy around there. The barn will be the summer project. Paint, cleaning and refurb in areas.

Today, since the steady rains started yesterday evening is tree stump extract day. The burn pile gets a fresh start.

Hope all have a great day, and be safe.

Billy, most likely you need a front hydraulics kit, two lines, mounting kit. Gives you the extra line needed
for opening and closing the grapple. I ordered it when I bought my tractor and was glad I did. Then they add a small box to your FEL
control with some lighted buttons on them. One to open, one to shut. Don't remember the cost, but
not quite AED worthy. Particularly considering how helpful a grapple is. Wicked Grapple from Everything Attachments is a good benchmark for dealer comparison, dealers of course almost always being more. Sometimes much more. I've been walking away lately, like getting that wood chipper direct from maker in NY. Dealers can't stock, have buying agreements or access to every line at every price point.
I usually print out the good deal and ask the dealer, what do you have like this? And then see if they add enough value to be worth the money
difference. A grapple is a great thing to have. Our days of picking up 300 pound logs are over.

53 here, going down to 23 the night, possible snow tomorrow. Yuck. Got the new cable/ tv system in, went with att, much cheaper than direct tv. My phone died, the replacement showed up about 5 last night, need to get that squared away. A few chores around the place, should round out the day.

Be safe.

Oh yeah. Since I fell last month, broke a couple ribs, I've gotten more careful. Not getting any younger. Probably a couple years younger than you, tho.

55ーF and cloudy this morning, going up to 75ー today. We got a little rain overnight, but most of the heavier stuff went south of us. Expecting the angry red spots on the radar later today and tonight. Local power companies already have their media peeps out this morning discussing their action plans to restore knocked-out power.

The flooring company showed up yesterday and installed the new vinyl in the sunroom, laundry room, and bathroom. Looks quite nice. The electrician was also there and while he didn't get everything done, he did get to most of it. He'll be back on Thursday to finish. Now, we just need to get the interior trim up around the windows and doors, and that room will be done.

A pic she sent me yesterday afternoon after she moved the furniture back in:

I've been told that is very painful. In another month you should be good as new
