Good morning!!!!

Good morning! 74˚ clear skies heading to the high 90's. I'm watering tomatoes in the keyhole garden and the one watermelon plant in the garden daily. Hopefully there will be a watermelon ready by July 4th - for the new owners. Yes, the Farm is sold to one of my childhood neighbor's cousin. I remember him visiting on our street in Houston about 40 years ago and his aunt and my mother still talk to each other regularly. His wife and my wife have the same taste so she fell in love with the house and he likes rustic land so the land sold the place for him. They had been looking for a year and had a lot of requirements. One requirements was that the house should be facing South and the first thing he did when he got out of his truck is to look at his phone compass as he was standing next to the compass rose - now that's funny. He and his children and grand children really appreciate all the projects I have done the last 20 years. His grand daughters went fishing in my pond yesterday and caught (and released) some big bass I never knew were there, I guess when my neighbors pond overflowed I got his fish.
He is also like Drew and always needs an extra tractor so he is now a Kubota owner. We are renting back till we move, but I will soon need a new avatar. Time to start packing.

Randy I'm glad Ronny is doing OK today and they found the problem. Stress is sometimes hard to control. I was under a lot of stress last year as my Father was dying shortly after my brother died and my mother was not doing well after her hip surgery.

Congrats on the sale, Don!

Where to now?

We have been researching Sun City in Georgetown for a year and decided to make it our new home. It is 1.5 hours from here. The first house we walked in was a winner.

Thanks guys, it’s actually my son in law.
They found nothing but suspect a heart rhythm issue, could be a problem or a one time thing. He stresses a lot and it could be that or a panic attack, he’s seeing his doc and getting tested.
I tell him all the time to stress less and smile more.

Stress and alcohol resulted in a heart arrhythmia in 2009. Not a good thing...
I had to have a pacemaker implanted to keep the heart rhythm correct...

64 going to 70. Already sprayed my brick walk with home made weed killer. Next up is pressure wash the deck, then help brother in law cut some deck boards I gave him. All this while trying to not use my left arm. Good thing it is healing well and can be used for support. Going back to work on Monday. Prayers for all in need.

Wow Don, that's big news. I like where you are near 35, access going just about all directions.
Congratulations.

Good afternoon. Sorry no shearing pics this time. If you saw the state of my hands you would appreciate why I was reluctant to take my phone out of my pocket. The copius amounts of uncanned "fluid film", combined with the after effects of slightly too lush grass growth didn't look compatible with an exposed usb charging port.

After a glance at the hour meter and a few quick cals in my head I realised that I'm now spending twice as much time in a compact tractor cab as I do driving a car. Kyle, I saw a thread that was a good few years old where you had some thoughts about changing over to an air suspension seat to make driving more comfortable. These seats seem to have become more widely available in the smaller sizes nowadays and I'm wondering if it is a worthwhile change to make as I feel the bumps more with eash passing year. Anyone here have one or tried one and is there a downside to them ?

CWB, sorry to hear of your wife's tussle with a pump snake. Hope they can soon fix her up.

Drew, great to hear your garden passed the inspection ;) Should have guessed you've been growing dates. Good job your green fingers were not the same as mine yesterday.

Don, this feels like the end of an era to many of us, so must be a huge change for you two. Best wishes, wherever the next adventure takes you. Have you told Whipper yet ?

70 with 93% humidity, it痴 a sauna.
Not as hot today they say, maybe I値l do all that stuff that never happened yesterday.

Drew, don稚 let the lady get away, even if you have to lock her in the barn!
Have a good day guys, prayers for the lot of us.

Drew, don稚 really lock the girl in the barn, that usually ends badly.
On the other hand, She might marry you for your tractors.. A Tractor digger?
😜

Sorry i haven't been keeping up.
Congrats Don on house sale.
Welcome lightleader. Lots of good helpful people on TBN, and a few grumps. Lol.
CWB, prayers for your wife.
PJ, nice toolbox.
Wngsprd, now is the time to jump for the ztr. Just dont have $12k for the ZD. Maybe a gravely HD. If i buy new mower, this one wont get fixed, and ill have 2 broken riders in the barn. Still have my old wheel horse 212H. It looks real good, but needs engine reworked.
Randy, hope all goes well with Son in law.

72°F and cloudy this morning with some scattered showers, going up to 90° today.

The remnants of Subtropical Storm Alberto made its way to our area last evening, bringing with it some noisy and windy storms. Ironically, we didn't get a whole lot of rain out of it. Heavy downpour for about 15 minutes, then some light rain. I did see a limb hanging from the tree by the barn when I closed the chicken coop last night, so I'll have to get that down this evening.

L4N, I did indeed tend to the scratch almost immediately with a good dowsing of peroxide. It bled a bit, which probably also helped keep it flushed. Just looks like a long scratch today.

First Lynn, now Don. Lots of selling and moving. Congrats on the quick sale, Don. Hope it works out well for you.

Best wishes to CWB's wife for a speedy recovery.
