Good evening to everyone! Kinda weird posting this late...seems like everything is backwards :confused2:
Got up to 87 today, low of 52 at 06:00 this morning. Still dry, dry, dry. Humidity has only been 5-6%. Sweat evaporates before it can begin to cool you. Nice breeze at 10-15 is helping it feel cooler out in the sun.
Worked outside all day with the wifey cutting a 6' high picket fence down to 3'. We initially put it in about 9 years ago as a windbreak, but the plantings behind it now grew well over the height of the fence. We were going to take it down completely, but wifey thought it would look nice as a "white picket fence". Well I definitely like it lower, but not looking forward to painting 400' of picket fence...I don't care what color it is!
Welcome to lightleader...great group of guys here that you will learn a lot from. Please add some more info about yourself in your profile, such as location, tractors, etc...
Jay, guess I never updated my 'status' about work... Had a setback a couple of weeks ago in PT. Ortho doc pulled 65cc of fluid off the knee and suspended PT for a week. When we had a follow up appt, he authorized return to light duty starting next week, and another assessment for July 9th. This past week has been rough, PT is suspended again, this time by PT therapist, again due to severe swelling and decreased ROM. He wants release from ortho doc in order to continue PT. I put a call in to them last Friday...still no return call as of today. As you can tell by what I was doing outside today, the attitude is now "SC*** THIS!". I need to get back to work and take care of things on the home front. Let things fall as they may.
Claye, sorry to hear about the wife. I hope she can get 'fixed' quickly and start the healing process.
BEF, man that is a bummer about the axle... Don't think I have ever seen a rider break an axle like that.. Hopefully won't be too expensive to fix. Seems like stuff like that ends up costing about half of what a whole new tractor would cost....oh, I see that plan...
Drew, you amaze me everyday when I see the pics you post... I sure hope the folks at the pantry realize how much work you are doing. God bless you my friend!
Kyle, boy does that look good! Wifey told me already not to get any ideas...:licking::thumbsup:
Anyway, time for bed now...additional prayers out for new needs.
