I agree. And now our 13year old whole house air conditioner is deciding to crap out.Can't really complain as we have never had a problem with it. Just sucks that we have a week of 90's plus coming. I'm heading for the tractor, the air works great in that. Might be hard sleeping.....

99 degrees, am thankful a/c's work, voltage down to 113 on a Sunday which is pretty low.
I guess if one has an a/c it's going to be turned on today.

Did get the metal working class in HS due to moving but was always interested. Never had a need that justified the investment unlike my wood tools. A few years back my good friend sold his mill and lathe, old, good stuff. I secretly hoped it would languish a bit on CL and I could bargain to a price I could justify, but alas they sold very very quickly.

As for the cleanup. I remind myself they didn稚 get in such bad shape overnight so it痴 gonna take time to fix. Not that makes it more pleasant. LOL

I took shop in HS but it was a welding class only when it came to metal. They had a metal lathe but the teacher knew nothing about it but did let me play with it a bit.
I can't justify it ether for the work I know I need to do with it but I am looking at it as a hobby. I do hope to do some jobs for people sometime but it will be a while. Ed

Good evening all. 80F this morning, mostly clear, and windy. Wind died off till rain got close, sky clouded up this afternoon. high temp was 98F untill rain was close then cooled off to low 80's. Rain did miss us , Muenster got 1/3 inch of rain. Did make it to chapel this morning, Stepdaughter's golf cart discharged passed where her charger would recharge and had to "tickle" 3 batteries to get it charging, then moved stuff for her. Too hot to do much but nap this afternoon. Got this pic from another guy on the ride, I on the left with the leaning rack bag.

71F now mid 90's for high no rain in sight.

Really not all that excited about going to work and dealing w/heat complaints...the selfish ones.
Time for E muffin feed little critters and slow roll to work.
