Good morning (evening) to all! Well, we finally got a few evening showers for the past 3 days. Each passing shower gave us 2/10". There were flash floods within 30 miles of us in Santa Fe, they got 3 1/2" in 1 hour! Areas to the south also got 2-3".... I guess a little is better than nothing. The downdraft/ outwash winds associated with the storms broke a few bigger branches off, but no other damage.
It's an absolute sad sight to see the major flooding in some parts back east. We saw news clips of Hershy Park all flooded out and the local houses being flooded....no one needs that.
Quote: Well guys, wifey and I are celebrating 37 years of wedded bliss today. Although, I must have been a bit groggy this morning. She said can you believe it's been 37 years, and I said, gee it sure seems longer than that... I'll post pics once the bruising goes down...
That's funny stuff... CONGRATS ON YOUR ANNIVERSARY ! ....I think your very lucky...:laughing:laughing:
Went to the ortho doc on Monday.... he wasn't very happy about the lack of further improvement in the knee...all he kept saying was: "your knee is really being stubborn", "it may take a while longer". He reported a large amount of fluid / swelling, but said he wouldn't aspirate again or inject any cortisone because it is too soon from the last time. They only like to do the needle thing once every 4 months. He kept me on limited light duty for another 2 months....oh well.
Hope everyone is able to stay dry and out of harms way. It's humpday...just a couple more to go until the weekend! Prayers out to those needing.
