Don, the tables I have seen are 4 ft square, m not sure of how long with all of the leaves in them.

My "vintage oak" table which I got from a divorcee on Craig's list is 4.5' square and has 6 - 10" leaves for a total of 9.5'. It would be nice to have the leaves store under the table, as they do take up closet space.

RNG, thanks for the shoe tip, they have 6 different wide shoes.

73 going to 82 and more rain likely.

Got a good cardio and weight workout at the gym yesterday while things outside are still wet. Funny how some days the same amount of weight feels so heavy, and other days, like yesterday, the same weight felt light.

The Kubota guy is coming out today. The lift kit for the front of my zero turn was not is stock when I bought it back in May and they finally just got it.

Don, cool engineering in that table. Never thought about how many SF of counter space...so measured this morning...58...but part of that is taken up by the microwave...still no IP here.

Roy, sorry your trip was so rough.

Mom called yesterday afternoon to report that my cousin was bit by a copperhead and then said she sees a copperhead in her flower garden. Told her not to mess with it. Now if she lived in Sun City she could just call the “snake wrangler” for free removal.

I was told the primary snake here is the rattlesnake. They even have a day classes for whipper to not shake the snake. It includes a real snake and a shock collar.

Oh, my cousin is ok except for a black and blue leg, and a lot of swelling and pain.

It's overcast this morning with a low 50*, yesterday was in the high 80' and mostly sunny. Today will be in the low 90' and how they are saying a 20% of thunderstorms and 15-20 mph winds.

The neighbor called yesterday and asked if I wanted to go fishing with him and his 4 year old grandson. We didn't catch anything but had good time. Also got some work done on trailer.

Here are a couple of pics of the hummingbirds.

Going into town for the wife and to get the tires for the trailer today.

Hope everyone has a good day.
CWB.

66°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 90° today.

Carpenter got the front half of roof done on the house yesterday. Back half will have most of the challenges. He's also removing the metal vent hoods and installing a ridge vent on both the house and the garage.

We have a round table that The Wife bought, before we even started dating, from a furniture store in town. Guy makes everything he sells, and makes some really nice stuff. The table and chairs came from there, as did the china cabinet. The table has a leaf that folds in the middle and pivots down into a space under the table, which closes over it and latches. Not as cool as the one Don posted, but a pretty ingenious design nonetheless.

Never bothered to measure our counter space. We have a small kitchen, but we did add a little next to the stove during the remodel. It's surely nowhere near 68 ft². That is an awesome kitchen, David.

70°F and .44 inches rain. Not a lot but start and stop showers to prevent my mowing. Maybe today will hold more promise.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Nice table, still on small side.

Too many years ago I had the old oak, split pedestal with 8 leaves. Didn’t realize what a treasure back then as people would give away just to be rid of them. Hate to think how many likely ended up as firewood.

Very limited choices here, especially affordable. Did have a local craftsman offer to custom build a round table, but offer didn’t come with a definite price, so I declined and designed the one in pic.

As for counter, I didn’t include the counter behind the table as I tend to think of it as a sideboard. Very handy for desserts when we have potluck.

Sideboard 13.5x1.33= 17.95 minus 6.6= 11.3 usable sf

Well guys, wifey and I are celebrating 37 years of wedded bliss today. Although, I must have been a bit groggy this morning. She said can you believe it's been 37 years, and I said, gee it sure seems longer than that... I'll post pics once the bruising goes down...:)
