Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

My advice for CDL stuff is to call and talk to the state trooper in your state(or states that you plan to tow in) that actually does the pulling over.(not just any state trooper) There are so many threads with so much wrong information about CDL laws. I’ve

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

For the ones I called couldn’t understand that I wanted the CDL for driving a dually and equipment trailer. Told me it was basically set up to get big rig drivers a job and I would have to line up my own 18wheeler to take the test.

It’s always one or the other with you. No option for middle ground and no having a real conversation. It’s almost like dealing with a 10 year old repeating what his dad says. You don’t like x well that means you must love y. That’s not how math or minds work.

Be careful, that hat won’t keep you neck from breaking! I love having ROPS and FOPS when in the woods. To the need to get on an off guys. Do the doors on your machines not lock back? Getting in a cab vs open isn’t much different if you can fold the door back flat and leave it open.

    Clear cutting half arsed, why?

Look at it this way. You are very fortunate to be able to have time to complain about things that don't matter at all! Like someone else said 5 years it's composted an regrown. (And I'm very fortunate to have time to read it and make a response that probably isn't very helpful)

I went by a Ford dealer and they had 15 or 20 electric mustangs. It is not a pretty car to me.

I work on the rural internet project and one thing I really like about it is everything I've seen put in the ground is USA made. The conduit, the mule tape, the fiber, the 12x12s, vaults and bullet peds all MADE IN USA. It surprised me in a good way.

You Know You Are Old When

@haydude here's an old man workout. You start with a 1lb sack of potatoes held out level at arms length. Keep using that until you can hold it for 2 mins x 5 reps. Then you just slowly work your way up 2lb sack, 5lb sack, stopping at 50lbs. Once you can hold a 50lb sack for 2 mins x 5...

CLANGING in the front diff of brand new T494....what the heck

I'm pretty sure the op said dealer had another unit on the lot but "TYM won't let them cannibalize it" to paraphrase. The issue is two fold: 1) A good dealer would have pulled the needed part then fought with TYM to get made right, not make the customer to do the fighting. 2) A good OEM...

This! If the dealer cared he would have taken the needed parts off of the the other tractor on the lot. The thing about TYM telling them they can't sounds like BS from my experience.

Importing and modifying a new mini excavator from China

Low hydraulic fluid seems a more likely cause than a sensor or something that would make a hydraulics stop working. You should be able to operate an excavator at angles that require seatbelt usage without anything stopping.

  182. F

    4820 vs 5520 (DPF)

I my opinion the turbo failure rate is way over stated. Especially in tractors/equipment where the boost pressure is very low. Almost everyone I've seen failed on cars or trucks was from using crap oil or running with a boost leak that then overspins the turbo because it can't reach desired psi.

Have you ever paid someone a lot of money to do a job and ended up screwed.

I know a good concrete dude. He says if a contractor can get to you job in less than a month or two it means they're either new or bad at concrete work. All the quality crews are booked up solid.
