One more idea of a brush guard

I build the gray expanded metal part. I welded the expanded metal to the flat metal frame. If you look closely you can see the 4 nuts that hold it on. It can be removed easily for service. Any other protection you see is OEM.

Broken Lower 3 Point Hitch Arm

you said you welded it. I'm assuming you did a butt weld. Can you sleeve it with another piece of metal and weld it on? I think with a sleeve on it that will be the last place it will break again.

Bent SSQA plates/hands - what are my options?

I've got to ask. How do you bend the mounting plate 3 times a day. When my implement is on correctly, it would take an unnatural force to bend them.

Bent SSQA plates/hands - what are my options?

I would use caution reinforcing the cross bar too much. That is the weak link and easy to fix. I bent mine on my L6060, because one side of the forks (w/6' extensions) I was using unlatched and put all the pressure on one side. That twisted the ssqa mounts out of time. I cut the tube and put a...

    clean air filter

Why is the last place we look for info, the owners manual. lol Looked it up and the manual says clean the air filter every 100 hours. So I keep looking and it tells you how to clean them. Also says to replace every year. You guys still give just as good advise as the owners manual. Thanks again.

    clean air filter

5030, how many hours do you do a year. I only do about 100 to 150hrs. I still like to clean or replace the air filter when I do. I has a lot of dust in it. The air indicator hasn't changed, but I assume by the time that indicator says you need to do something its really plugged.

    clean air filter

Ok guys, I searched and didn't find anything, quickly. How does everyone clean the air filter on their tractor. I know blowing air into it will sometimes pack the dirt in tighter. Is there an air filter cleaning solution that works? Just soap and water? Spray with degreaser and wash out then let...

    Ford Superduty 6.2 questions?

I have a 2019 F250 Lariat, with the 6.2, with 45000 miles. Always had diesel to tow with until they got so burdened with emissions. I was plugging the exhaust filters. (not enough highway miles). I've been really happy with this truck, so happy I just order another F250 with the 7.3. Ford is...

Trailer question - is there too light of a load for a 14k trailer?

I have a GR L6060 also and when I do the math on weight I was over loaded on my 10000lb steel trailer. I came up with close to 10000lbs loaded weight. Now, that was with my forks on the front tied down, tractor, loader and backhoe and I also have loaded tires. I took the weights listed in owners...

    steering wheel spinner knob

I like it on the tractor, especially when mowing. I mow in straight lines and have to turn around at the end of the row. I don't think I would have one w/o power steering. It might give you a beating in rough terrain.

    Ballast box questions

I've had this on 3 tractors now. I keep adding weight as the tractors get bigger. I added a hook to tow logs, etc. The wing plates are so I can pick it up with my forks. Last add was the bracket to add suit case weights. The box is filled with old wheel weights and I keep my favorite chain and 3...

I was just thinking about putting my chains on and go get some of my firewood out of the woods before all the frost and snow is gone. Skid steer snow blower on tractor loader?

If your cutting thru say 12" of snow the 12" wall of uncut snow is causing enough resistance in slippery conditions to stop you from turning. If you are only blowing 4" of very light and fluffy snow now it will turn. Try to turn your tractor when scooping a bucket of dirt. A little exaggeration...

Skid steer snow blower on tractor loader?

You still have a good deal there. I bought mine new with the tractor and I think it was $10000 to $12000 installed. I've had a few front mount snow blowers. Studs for snow plowing

Skid steer snow blower on tractor loader?

I didn't notice any vibration, but i was concerned about all that weight on my PTO shaft. Then I welded it to the clamp that bolts to the draw bar...
  35. dennis103

Skid steer snow blower on tractor loader?

The pump has the female spline that mates to the PTO shaft. It has a bracket that hangs down on both sides of the draw bar. Skid steer snow blower on tractor loader?

I can't take the credit for the install. I purchased the blower as a package with the tractor, so the dealer installed it. They did a really good job. Skid steer snow blower on tractor loader?
