I needed a small lift for my Cyclone rake to pickup the motor (100lbs) and mount it to the trailer. I also need a small lift to put the 80lb hydraulic pump on the rear PTO. I have just finished welding it up. Now I need to paint it and se if it will actually work for both.

Do you intend to add counterweight too, now you can lift beyond the wheels of the crane ?

Please be careful, when overturning a workbench from 5 inch hot rolled C channel and 3/8" sheet, i was once launched into the overhead door because the center of gravity of the workbench tumbled outside the wheels, and my 80kg wasnt enough...

Last week i rebuilt my engine hoist... last summer i bent it whilst pulling over 4" conifer hedges in my brother in laws backyard. (It worked wonderful, negligible collateral damage to the lawn, and several times more lift than an 800kg mini ex from a rental shop, the only other thing you can get in his backyard) Replaced the squeezed tube and stuffed it with extra scrap tubing, just in case i get more of these jobs...

In front gardens, i just pull stuff out with the Volvo, with half the block getting outside to get entertained, but disappointed when i make it look so easy :D

Yep, it has had a counterweight for several years:

Crane scale shows 3,428 pounds with jack in middle hole and the extensions retracted:

Have not measured lifting power in the outer max lift hole:
