Hello,

5 years ago my son got his two-up Artic Cat 4 stroke stuck on power line, he went to turn around and buried it, took two hrs to shovel it out, been 4 hr without cell phone. I told him the first think I'd do with a sled that size is put a winch on it, he said it cant be done, when comes to...
If flip caps is a none issue I'd pick Echo CS501p, thats one I went with two years ago because really like captive bar nuts, and rim sprockets. I dont see it on Echo's site but HD still sells it but a $100'00 more then what I paid.

Oh great now instead of just looking up $400.00 work boot wearing words we now have acronyms to look up by people that go sledding in 60* temps on a sled with no winch, no wonder you wasn't feeling hunky dory........
A or an dont trip me up but I have the hardest time with some of the simplest words spelling and or meaning. It's every freeken time with eles vs else, usally vs usually, mine vs mind............
Assuming thats not styrofoam, thats a good lift, nice picture. The best thing Kubota did was put the exhaust down low on newer tractors, I'd have to re-rout that pipe or it would be knocked off in a week....
Something tells me your not a red-neck, ok I'll look that word up to....
Copasetic>>> synonyms>> agreeable, all right, alright, ducky, fine, good, hunky-dory, OK (or okay), palatable, satisfactory.......

Is that a word spelt wrong or you make it up?
Used the ole cut limb halfway trick, works good on fresh cut wood but on dry-ish wood for me sometimes work and other times gets left halfway between here and there which most times ends up staying here or there.
When I was logging 40 years ago the...
Yes and it only took me one branch and a lack of ambition to cut down every branch everywhere I go.......
Thanks another compliment, two in one day thats outstanding!!!!!
I'm gonna take that as compliment. First addition was skid plate then fuel filter guard, then roll cage, then it's just one thing after another but just about everything can be unbolted and taken off.........
Dont think I'd want double line pulling on back of my yuppy tractor, my single line pull will already break things, trying to avoid that.
I think I rather have gg self release snatch block, then I wouldn't have to reposition tractor between a narrow obstacle course risking life limb and a...
Your right, angle bar is welded to FEL tower but theres still an opening to grease the zerk. I plan on doing a full video this summer of how all that goes together with other add-ons, not sure if I have any pics of it or not.
Not set up for double line pull, need something for a pully-block or snatch-block to do that. The last pull I did was pulling top away from the tree that it's caught on. Other option is cut down more trees that I'm trying to save.
Pt 5 got messed up a little, I videoed from bridge to wood pile but some how I hit the slow-mo setting, so I deleted that part and instead turned it into a winch demo vid.

First I seen this one to but least it comes with saw blade wheel that is already has the right tooth profile, saw chain sharpener could be a bonus feature...
That Woodmizer<($799.) sharpener looked bout the same as Woodland<($699.) but the Woodland's video was ten times better.
Now the heres where the learning curve comes in, you have to shape the stone with stone, mine came with a pre-shaped 5" diameter CBN wheel to sharpen the entire profile of...
And thats anything that grinds my gears on this new TBN, I cant find the stir pot icon, it's had to rattle someone cage without a stir pot......

Then there the round blades, slightly bigger then a circular saw blade although he can do them to. I dont know how this is going to work when has to take the saw blades to Canada for hammering.
Only one of my all time favorite westerns, that kid reminds me of my youngest, always playing with toy guns.

I dont think there is a gap of time for hardwood, cut down, mill up, stick up, strap down.
Northern white pine form May to October should be milled up in 3 weeks or put in farm pond to keep bug off, have about 4 hours to sticker it before staining.
Yup it's pricy but son can sharpen when he wants and he sharpens for others, doesn't adjust setting that often but should be done eventually. Have you checked out Woodland sharpener.......

I bet everything is cheaper out your way, ME is expensive state to live in.
Must of been 25 years with this water softener, my water was so rusty white tee shirts would turn red, then had about two days of red water after the softener was put in, guess rusty water is common.
Interesting water set up, probably been around 50 years since I seen 3-5' of snow, I'm 20 mi from coast so big snow is rare probably been 10 years sense I seen 2-3', right now I have bout 10-12" of hard snow.
We dont want the wife in the next problem, thats the chief cook and bottle washer...
I haven't noticed any political BS, should be shut down most of the ones that started this thread are gone, put your mask mittens on you'll be alright............
Here you go Shane>>>
My son likes hand on do it your self so 8 years ago I bought the Woodmizer combo, still bout the same price and took about two months to get it, might be longer now, stone and oil is extra. BMS250 and BMT250 Combo Bundle
We get these 40lb bags for around 7-$8.00 so I'd say your doing good, nearest Culligan man for me is 70mi so not sure if I'd get the same bargain, but something to look into.

I had to clear cookies and catch data stuff then update google chrome on my HP laptop just so I could post comments, guess this new TBN fiasco needs fresh cookies....
Least now I found the settings to lengthen out the pages, so instead of 6 post/page I now have a bunch on one page, but I better not see any more TBN changes in the next 50 years or I'll quit........
Never heard of a pump house before, my guess is, it's a house for a water pump.
Next problem will be, how am I going to lift those bags in the round thing when I'm 80...........
My water softener is in the basement to but I have a walk-in basement, just have to go down around to get to it so a hand-truck will roll in the door way and the best part is, now the bags wont fall off or on hand-truck tires.
PS, I dont care for this new TBN up-grade.......
And,,,,,,,,,,,, now I see I cant adjust pictures in right numeral alphabetical production order, so the last pic stays the first......:( I throw a hissey fit but cant even find that icon anymore......
These 40lb water softener bags have lately become more like 100lb bags but a hand truck helps in weight distribution but hand trucks come with a to small of a hand to make them handy, but that only applies to me and thats why everyone else is happy dappy with hand trucks.
So this weekend was...
Getting use to it and liking are two different things for me, I dont like it hence the name Oldpath.... For instance I now have to click on each picture one at a time and now have 15 pages instead on 2 which just adds more clicking, I prefer scrolling down not clicking, least spell check still...
When someone posted a bunch of pictures back in the good ole days, I use to hold (ctrl) and left click to bring those pics to the top of my page to view, now the pic goes on the comment page and only one at a time, that's not an improvement it's anarchy.......
I for one dont like change but do like improvements, IMO this is not an improvement, but least it gives something to complain about. If theres one thing that stays the same it's nothing stays the same.......

It appears my bridge is doing an outstanding job of not letting snow in the brook, should be helpful in drying out faster this summer and protect erosion 100 miles down stream....
I needed to go out to my back woods today, so I went out this morning to start my L3400 yuppy tractor, it was +7* F out, so thanks to modern glow plugs and block heaters, it started right up and within a few seconds was running just fine, and that's on the original 14 year old battery.
Gotha.... That bolt-on angle bar should've been an inch longer, the way it was, was like a kitty corner but weld with gap, fortunately mig welding works good on gaps. I placed a thin shim on cutting edge then clamp both pieces together, as you can see with the forks hooked on cutting edge there...
How much freeken weld does something take to make it hold, evidently more than one pass. If I still have multi pass everything with 10018 then might as well stay with 7014 or 7018 rods. I went to move some brush and thought I heard a clink clunk clank ting tong ping pong, so lifted my bucket up...

All this compressor talk made me go check mine, haven't drained the tank since last July and bout a quart of water came out. So checked mine today, first drained the air, then loosen petcock up and I was shocked, not one drop of water came out, thought it might be plugged I took out the whole...
I finish my new short forks, had some truck spring that barely long enough to get 16" stick out. They're 1/2' thick so should be enough to lift logs and firewood, also good for making brush piles but not as good as grapples, that still remains on the I want list.........
Why in the name of Jesus Christ is there not a prayer icon on TBN, unless I'm blind I dont see one, it should be the first icon on the list...... When all there is between life and eternity is a doctor there should be atleast prayer icon on here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Front of garage has boards diagonally because of two doors that are close together, theres no way to have 2x6s to go diagonally between them, I figure that it adds strength against wind, and along the sides I have 2x6s going diagonally between studs.

I would think a tractor caught up in fire should've discentergrated it, tires burn good and hot not to mention a plastic fuel tank, I expected more fire damage.
Todays Jeep is not your daddy's Jeep, to say the least they have come along way in just the past 20 years and not what I'm use to. I just recently bought a used 2018 Cherokee Latitude and it is 10 miles different then my 04 Liberty, so much so I been looking up some videos on it because I dont...
It's no longer 115 input volts, it's 120 input volts on one hot wire, 115 is on the low side, a multi-metor would show 118-121volts, standard house entrance is 240 volts to a 100-200 amp panel.
