Nice pic! Nice weather. Nice and private. Huge paddock to mow....
We had a little storm come through last night. About 10 drops of rain...but the main benefit was that it blew in from the east and blew that California wildfire smoke back to California. Also cooled the temperatures down about 20 degrees so this morning I took advantage of the clear skies and cool air to mow weeds.

Today I learned to put the levers down on the QA after attaching the grapple. Not doing so may seem like a way to save time but it doesn't work out that way. As is usually the case I'm probably the last person to know.
Luckily it came off when I was moving some brush out of the trail, not when I had a bucketload of wood. It was low enough to the ground so that I didn't even wreck the hoses.

Gee wiz looks like to me you need some Louisiana weather.......
I really, truly wish that Louisiana would quit being so stingy and share some of that rain with us on the west coast...at least long enough to drown all those California fires that have kept our skies smoky for the past couple months. Quarter mile visibility at times - and we are 350 miles from the fires!
