    Popping out bushes?

Two days ago I was down my mile long driveway - troweling out my one mud hole with my LPGS. It gently rolling and smooth as a pool table now. Anyhow - on the way back home - I use the grapple to pull/rip out a few of the Buck brush clumps that insists on encroaching on the driveway shoulders...

I put my LNL on my DeWalt battery powered grease gun. It's an awesome combination. Only one slight problem. A few of the grease zerks on my Kubota FEL are set in round recesses. LNL is too large to fit into these recesses. I use my Lincoln manual pump greaser for these few zerks.

Regarding rear blades. I had a HD rear blade for both my tractors. 42+ years using a rear blade. Currently it's a Rhino 950 @ 1000+ pounds - seven feet wide. A rear blade can be a real PITA for grading a gravel driveway. It's great for snow removal and cleaning out ditches. The problem...

    Chipper WoodMaxx Mx-8600

When I finish chipping I do a couple things that help preserve the chipper. Clean out the chipping chamber. Particularly all the trash that will collect at the bottom. Trash absorbs moisture - moisture can lead to rust. Grease the two bearings that support the rotor. LIBERALLY coat the...

    Woodchippers: PTO vs gasoline driven

I run a Wallenstein BX62S with my Kubota M6040. The chipper is rated for 6" wood - the M6040 has 56 pto hp. With this setup I can easily chip any trees on my property. The chipper is a manual feed model. I have no need for hydraulic feed. I chip ONLY small pines ( 1" to 6" on the butt )...

Clear Thousands of Acres of Brush in No Time With This One Weird Trick

I have a head on my Stihl FS350 with four free swinging nylon blades. Just like a mini bush hog. Works great and these blades will last an entire season.

Need a grapple for my tractor... help me spend some money. :)

BobBrown - sorry I'm late on an answer. Your Kubota dealer handles Land Pride grapples. Mine is the GSC1560. 820 pounds of AR400 steel. For that price - $4350 - they installed the WR Long 3rd function valve also. $3150 for the grapple - $1200 for the WR Long valve. Mine is one of the...

    Chipper WoodMaxx Mx-8600

Good looking unit. Looks a whole lot like my Wallenstein BX62S. My in-feed is a tad lower than yours. When you get as old as I am - it makes a difference. All I have out here is Ponderosa pine. I thin my pine stands - every other year or so. Pine has to be one of the easiest kind of...
