2 acres isn't big enough to justify the cost or the effort to bale. Plant it in a big garden, pasture or food plot. Plant different things till you find what works for you. Buy hay as needed. I used to cut and bale 25 ac to feed cows. Spent way more on equipment than hay cost to buy.

My new neighbor asked me to disk his newly mowed grown up acre to plant a new food plot. We agreed on $50/ac. He was upset when it took 10 times over the acre to even see dirt My charge was $500. I did tell him one trip with planter @ $75/ac. He went and bought his own equipment .

I use the same anchors for my elevated shooting houses. One in the middle under the stand. When I do move them, usually have to dig the anchor out with backhoe. After couple years, they won't pull out.

It's still too wet here for any tractoring the next few days. It's been a while since anything broke that required heat, weld or big hammer to fix. Im sure that will change in the next couple of months. Something always breaks!

Are your lift arms adjustable? They should go lower than the lift pins and float with the plane as it is pulled. If the plane raises up when rear tires go over the humps, the lift arms should be longer.

Any of the 8000 or the 100 Series are unicorns since Mahindra has stepped out of the 75hp+ tractors. I was killing some time kicking tires on one of the new cabbed 60hp, owner advised not to ever trade the 8560. He said the 85 & 105 were the best tractors Mahindra ever made.

I have a frame mount Bradco for a CUT, had it for about 10 years. I use it often by doing all the digging chores when it is mounted up. I also have a bigger tractor so that makes a difference. Those 3 pt backhoes are hard on the tractor and will break something if not very cautious.

I used to pull a piece of chain link fence with 3 or 4 tires wired to it. Now I use a 4 bar spike harrow that came off a Do-All.

There’s lots of suction pumps to get the old oil out. Could try mixing some diesel and cheap oil to stir it up and keep siphoning it out till clean. Add some Lucas to the new oil and keep a check on it. If it will operate at speed with the slack in coupler, use it. If it vibrates too much, repair.

I use a camera(s) on my cab tractor. I can reverse the image on monitor so it is the right image. I use it on the forks more than as a backup camera. I prefer the mirrors to watch the mower, planter and corn sheller. I can also put a camera in the seed hopper if need be.

Do you guys really think a ‘cab’ tractor lost the roof?? I have seen canopies flopping while towed several times. I always strap my canopy down to keep it from being ripped off. Come on guys!!

I have used chain top links on mowers since I was 18 with no problems. Im 65 today.

Try the liquid ballast in rears, keep the bucket on and low to the ground. Use the seat belt until you feel comfortable using the machine on slopes. Duals on that little tractor are for looking cool in parades .

The Pittsburgh frame is much stronger and should handle 2 planting units. I used to have a 2r with side dress fertilizer hopper. Made some really nice corn with that setup.

I mounted my bracket on the top right side of the bucket. It was flexing the bucket material so I welded a 8x16 plate to the bucket and bolted through both plate and bucket. Solved flexing and I have a clear view of saw.

I have 2 on the 8560 since it has such a large steering wheel. It is never in the same place as it is hydraulic drive. No matter where the wheel settles, there is a handle close by for my hand.

A tractor without FWA will struggle with a stump bucket, maybe to the point of breaking something.

There are tractor specific brackets from Bradco that may fit your tractor. 3 pt connection is not recommended for lots of valid reasons.

It’s not always possible, but I try to wait until machinery has cooled overnight to uncouple hydraulics. Also, always unhook with lever in float position.

I use waste motor oil/diesel mix and saturate everything with a old pump up sprayer. Seems the real cheap one gallon size has a crappy spray wand that can be adjusted to spray oil/diesel mix without clogging

Make a template of the old bucket connection and measure the pin, holes and boom width. Any machine shop should be able to cut the old off and weld new on. I did it for a 12” bucket to fit a Mahindra BH. Can also take old bucket to machine shop to match the new one.

A Mahindra dealer can order it, the price is going to be outrageous.

I don't need another engine just to run 3 or 4 days a year. Something else that won't crank when needed!

My 3510 pto won’t start sometimes after it hasn’t been used for a while. I have to tap the solenoid under my right foot and she is spinning. Not worth the effort to replace as the new one would probably do the same thing if it is even available. Have to tap it maybe once or twice a year

The $4200 tractor needed injectors and probably a fuel pump. The rest seem to be avg $11K, if it runs and doesn’t have obvious issues, offer $10K? All he can say is “no”.

Ask your agent for a Marine policy and give them tractor serial number, they should write a separate policy and send to finance co.

I order things like that from Shoup. The have good stock on smalls and ship quickly. Great customer service.

A drawn planter needs more room to turn around. A weighted 4x4 utility tractor will pull more than it will carry. Transporting planters can be challenging.

Use a big chain with big clevis for toplink. Adjust it to cut level with tailwheel carrying the mower and lift arms supporting the front. You can still lift it when needed, no more smashing tailwheel.

Put small blades on the end gangs to just cover the trench left from rear gangs.

I have that saw. works good for trimming high limbs so tractor can get closer to trees. If blade sticks, reverse flow will get it out. use like a chainsaw.

If there is too much weight on the disc frame and the angle is aggressive, something will eventually break. Adding a 100# may be all it needs. If you need to add 100's of # to it, disc is too small for your job.
