    Metal shavings in hydraulic fluid???

Thank. I bought it used from a owner 6 years ago out of town. Tractor doesn’t get used too much and has been deff over due for flush/change. I am thinking it’s from someone trying to change gears (A/B/C) while it’s in motion as it’s a Hydro. I’ve let buddies borrow it and heard it grind before...

I tried the test today. Unfortunately, its still so wet out and I dont have anything close to load. But I drove the tractor up and down the drive with the forks on it, as it seems to be heavier than the bucket. It didnt seem to move much. But once I started hitting the bumps it started to...

JD 420 Loader bucket cylinder drops

Hey all, Going to change out the Hydraulic and Transmission fluid shortly and figure I would maybe try and rebuild the bucket cylinders. The bucket tends to drop as soon as it has a load it in, or not, but faster with load. It is the bucket's curl that drops, not the lift. However, I dont...

Front tire rod bent or misaligned?

Thanks for the replies. After posting I checked the tire pressure and it was a bit low. After I aired them up, the “canter” wasn’t as noticeable. I will play with it some more this week as time allows.. was just nervous as I lifted a heavy load the other day. Thanks

Front tire rod bent or misaligned?

Was looking at the tractor today and it looks as if the front tire is not straight. Are these tractors to have a slight pitch to level out when load is on? Please advise? It the “passenger” side .
