Bobcat 873 Boggs down and dies

Hello all. Bought a 2001 Bobcat 873 machine. Had some issues when bought but I thought I fixed it all. I recently put a new fuel pick up tube, fuel filter and lift pump. Things work great under low rpm but once you give it some throttle it wants to bog down and stutter and even die at times. Is this a fuel issue? Thanks.

Since the fuel system is where you made the changes, probably.
First thing to check is the pickup tube, is it longer than the one that came out, and does it have cutouts on the bottom edge so it can still get flow if it's on the bottom of the tank.
Also, if you replaced it because it was broken (common problem) the remnant can be rolling around on the bottom and partially blocking the new pickup.

The pick-up tube broke off into the tank. It was an aftermarket tube. It has the screen filter on the end of it. Also, used a cheap AMAZON fuel lift pump, so also thinking it could not be keeping correct pressure?
