I figured it would depend on how many stumps you have.
Of course it does. I love using my 60V Dewalt recip saw in the dirt when roots need cutting. Carry a spare battery or 2 and you can make a lot of cuts.

Found on the trail today. Will try get it off on Friday but we'll be out of town for a week after that.. View attachment 871803
It's never ending at our place. Fortunately, I can just drive the PT brush cutter around it and re-route our trail if I want. Or, just make a cut in the middle and push each half to a side.

With ArlyA, the weapon of choice will probably be a pole saw

Had a medium oak split and block trail and fence damage...

Surprised because I saw no indication of weakness...

Guaranteed anywhere you make a nice trail to enjoy that's where the trees will fall the most, lol.

I should have taken pictures because I was asked today what about the tree and said already done.

The guy said he was home all day and never heard a chain saw.

I used my Stihl AP battery saw and most of one charged 300 battery.

For some reason green oak like to coat and stiffen the chain... not a problem a little WD-40 can't handle.

Only have buildup with fresh oak...
