Nice pictures and update. How long before all the snow melts there? Hope your hay crop does good!
Looks like a lot of work, but it will be worth it.
Sorry I missed this, usually by end of April snow is all gone, we expect snow fall up to mid May... winter for us is usually from November to April... crops have to be harvest by September and you can't seed until end of May, we will get some frost even in early June at times. If you want tomato's, cucumbers, squash pumpkins and other vegetable of that sort you have to start them inside and have a greenhouse, outside garden is limited to potato's, peas, yellow/green beans, carrots, onions, turnip and lettuce .

2025 season has started with a control burn (a area I did not cut and bale last year)... Then I pass the diamond arrow where I disked last year and need to seed I am happy with the result. I also seeded, fertilized and pass the roller all before a nice rainy day. I also did some spot seeding in last year patch, now we wait and see how it turn out. I did put all my 5k of last year seeds and fertilizer, I hop I wont have to buy hay this year... 🤞

The plan this time off is to start on the outdoor horse arena I have to bury this little ''pond'' then start on the contour fence. I have all my cedar already. I am not sure if I will/should moldboard plow and till the whole thing or not, if I do I should do it before I start sinking post in...

finally took some vacation from work!! … got the horse rink level out, the grass mowed, some pit run delivered, then spread it all … and ho some manure spread in the field ( nothing was really growing) Looked at the weather and there’s 5 days no rain coming up, nothing hot but we (my dad ans myself) will sneak some hay🤠
