Friday night we got 6" of snow that I plowed Saturday morning with the truck. Then yesterday we got 4" more. Last night I was thinking of just treading on it but we got a little more snow last night and some drizzle this morning. Plus the weatherman said rain Wednesday followed by 10 degree cold. So I decided to plow this morning rather than making a mess treading on it just to have it freeze. I have no more hard packed snow road. Down to semi-soft bare gravel. So I used the tractor plow which is lighter and more controllable than the truck plow on bare gravel.

Second winter using a Blizzard B64. I know that inverted pull snowblowers are popular now, but really like using the B64.


Much easier than with my 29 year old Jeep.

Nothing beats Vermont in the Fall, but I think if we still had snow on the ground, I'd have to close my eyes and request my wife to hide the knives and guns...

Even living in Northern PA, winter lasts about 2 months too long!

Meanwhile I and most of my friends here in Vermont are happy that we finally got a REAL winter again! It's been a while

I'm still waiting. It's been two years with no winter whatsoever now.

Some cold, but no mentionable snow.
