That is interesting, I am going to get this wired IR system:

Long Range IR Weatherproof Remote View System

The wires will be buried, we are having our contractor lay in new electric lines with the camera line as well as put in all the new lights after the garage door is installed in my other barn. That barn will be my secure storage for high value items. The barn that was violated will be under surveillance from two cameras but not secured, it was have heavy implements in it. Game cameras are being deployed on the most likely avenues of approach.

My dog was in the kennel only because my wife was at her concealed weapons class and it was 13 hours. Otherwise he would have been with her or inside the house. The kennel is only for occasions when we may be gone a while so he doesn't have to "hold it." He is only in it probably 5 times a year.

I put the kennel in that barn just to keep him out of the weather. That barn only housed my firewood, Mule, lawnmower and some odd tools, plus I sometimes park my truck in there.

Thanks all, good info johndeere4300, I do not want to become the criminal suspect in all this!

Hey it worked for Fidel Castro! Put them all in boats and pointed them to Florida.

Yes your right,

And they brought that scare face over here too.:D

What are the "alarm outputs" for? Do they sense if the wire has been touched and alert you that the fence has been touched?

Later,
Dan

I'm just the boss and not up on tech details. I will find out and let you know. I bet touching fence would not create alarm, probably alarms on shorted fence and maybe loss of power to fence controller.

Thanks for your service Shaun. Im working with the same problem here to but Im at home, we have a sherriff that sits on his tail and we dont have a lack of manpower we have several volunteer deputies that have a county supplied car and gas and they are acadamey trained. But that dont fix stupid. One told me and the next road they stopped to take a stretching break on the Divide cut road which the Tenn tom water way has cut off. They were in the middle and one deputy was already at the park and another car load was on the entrance off the main highway. A mustang pulls off a side road and they see them and chunk a sizable bag of dope out the window. They walk over to it and pick it up but because one of them was in the bushes draining his lily, they didnt want to chase them as thats against dept policy. The officer didnt even know what year mustang just that it was blue. I know the car as this but I find it funny that 3 cars had him boxed in and they still lost him. Ive called the sheriffs dept 11 times in the last 9 months. The first time Folks were chopping ground cables off the power poles had pictures of them they said that wasnt enogh proof had a video one time. caught 2 and old man and a teenager trying to load steel out of my rack at my shop waited 2 hours then let them go with a copy otf ther tag and vin numbers still didnt have enough proof. Then folks prowling around at night at my neighbors house. I went to a county supervisors meeting and had a good talk that helped alittle with the power poles. Someone shot out the lights and tried a tire on our parts scraper at work at the landfill. also shot one of our fuel tanks that was empty and a storage shed. The constable is big buddies with the boys that did that we traced there 4 wheeler tracks to there house. MDEQ inspecto told us next time we can turn that in as Eco Terrorism be cause it was at a liscenced landfill. We are putting in infared game cameras in some fake bird houses. The thing with the sheriffs deptment here is they all clump together. usually 4 cars onduty day and nightin the county and several occasions they are all sitting together for several hours talking.
id go with the cameras inside the buildings to. One of my friends was having a similar thing you are having and same problems with the officials. He bought some cheap airtools and putthem in his shed in sight and put in a motion detecting video camera then barred the door where a considerable effort had to be put into getting it. He caught the boys on tape stealing them then barred the door again and left a portable welder that was a spare in the shed to and he had a lojack type device on the welder he taped it going out the door as well. Then called the sheriffs dept again and the went to court with all his hours of tape. and the recovery of the welder and tools. The 2 boys are now down south working for state.. It was a mess but got results fast.
