The matter is as resolved as it can get. I had gotten a lot of private messages about it the outcome, what a great group of people.
I installed a CCTV set up, got garage door installed in equipment barn, moved most of my stuff in there, got ADT system, and spent a lot of time placing game cameras. I imagine I spend about $10k on improvements in all sorting everything out. The insurance claim was about $6k.
Hunting season resulted in two bagged poachers and one vandalized/destroyed game camera. Not a bad season. The entire 100 acres has woven wire fencing surrounding it so that makes the trespassing more annoying.
The local police chief was just convicted for breaking into the house of the surrogate of hollywood people (Broderick/Parker). The county prosecutor was involved in the cover up. The Sheriff continues to be a total idiot. Life in the frontier!! There is more law and order in Iraq. Imagine that.
Spent most of the last few months fixing things outside and recovering from the most recent tour. At my new assignment in Pittsburgh which is very nice. Head to Afghanistan in 2012! Oh well.
