Shot your fuel tank, what buttheads. You had three great points.

1. I really love the idea of placing the cameras in fake bird house. That is a good one, I will probably do something like that.

2. Cameras inside the buildings, great idea, I didn't think about that.

3. That was also a good comment about the eco-terrorism idea. Framing it in that manner is really great to bring the Feds in but the last thing I want is federal folks around me.

I will call in anything that happens but I think I will pursue it primarily through civil means. Restraining order, sue their homeowners, sue each of them individually, and anything else I can get my attorney to do. You know attorneys, only money moves them.

I will probably seek that the state attorney general prosecute since the subjects know the county prosecutor somehow,or at least they claim to.

The Sheriff is being sued by just about all the deputies, all the inmates, and seems pretty clueless, our insurance rate for the jail went up and soon the county will be uninsurable. He will be gone soon but a clone will take his place. I will only involve the deputies to build my case as necessary.

Thanks all for great ideas.

Well, like I said,I would put my rambo mind in,and go on a search and destroy mission[or two].

Fight fire with fire, and it could even be fun and self healing kinda thing.!

Now,would that be the smart thing to do,maybe not,but than on the other hand, might be the only way.

People who act the way the neighbors are,are just bullies, who have never had a bully get after them. Once you do back to a bully, what he is dishing out,it generally alters bullys behaiver.

Could it make bullys behavier worse, yeah it could, which for me would be a good thing, once I started. We would end this in one way or other,if that ended up with me in jail, than there I'd be. But I'd have a better mind, than if I let it continue.

...go on a search and destroy mission[or two].

If Zetorshaun is dealing with a corrupt Sheriff's department, they'll prosecute Zetorshaun if he breaks the law in any way but let their crooked friends go on doing what they've been doing. If they aren't corrupt, but just lazy and stupid, Zetorshaun can't give them anything they can use against him.

Zetorshaun, keep your head, stay on the right side, and outwit these guys. That may take some time and sorely test your patience. God bless you. I know you aren't giving up.

I wasn't meaning on him getting caught,

What I was meaning was,him going on a mission at night. Not being seen, leaving no trails,or evidence, etc. Have to look situation over to see what mission was. Slashed tires, dead animals, broken windows,etc.,etc.

Maybe by the time he gets back, the neighbors will have done something really stupid elsewhere and already be in jail.

IT IS REALLY ASHAME THAT A PERSON HAS TO BE SHIPED OUT TO A

DIFFERENT COUNTRY, AND THEN HAVE NEIGHBORS AT HOME THAT

YOU NEED TO BE WORRIED ABOUT.

My job takes me all over the country, and everyplace I go I run across a lot more good folks than bad ones. I have no doubt there are lots of good neighbors around who could help out your wife in your absence. Are there any churches nearby? These are about the best places I know to get in touch with the local good folks in any neighborhood in the USA. I leave two kids and a wife alone while I am away, comfortable in the knowledge that my nieghbors will help them as needed. The driveway gets plowed after snowstorms, venison gets dropped off for food, generators get brought over during power outages, car gets repaired, you name it they do it and ask nothing in return. As far as dealing with bad actions by neighbors, I have had success by helping them out even if they dont "deserve it". I dont have any fences and took down all my posted signs long ago. Poachers interpret those signs as "good hunting" and they have not given me any trouble since I removed the signs. When a new neighbor who moved out from the city threatened to sue me because my tree fell onto his property, I plowed his driveway for him during the next big snowstorm and we now have a friendly relationship. I can honestly say that I really like all my neighbors.

You know, I just had an inspiration on this thread.

Is the do-nothing sheriff an elected official? Most places he is.

Before spending thousands on a security system that will only produce evidence the sheriff won't act on, and figuring ways to go over his head, take the easy way.

Have your wife arrange to meet him socially, and tell him she wants to make a contribution to his re-election campaign. Do it, then wait a month or two, call him up and tell him those dratted neighbors have done something again. For about 10% of what the security system would cost he will come out and take care of the problem. I bet there will not be another instance of vandalism.

No this isn't the way things are supposed to work, but in most areas there is a very strong "good old boys" network. The neighbors are part of it, and this is the quickest way for you to get into it.

A sheriff is suppose to do the right job to start with.

I have seen sheriffs that new that men was beating their wives and did nothing about it.

And a person that is getting no help from a sheriff, should never give him anything that would keep him in as a sheriff.
