I know many of you deal with huge buried rocks/boulders, I can only imagine what a PITA they could be.. BUT imagine every bucket you struggled to break out of the ground is this:

That is a 24" bucket, some of the chunks of GUMBO could only be broken by chopping with an ax.. Sledge hammer would bounce off and dont even think about breaking them up by driving over them with the tractor :mad:

Cant imagine what it is like to dig in rich fertile soil....

Wow, that makes finding maybe a pebble or 2 in my soil seem like a walk in the park. I feel lucky but still, the soil here has lots of hard clay. Boxblade will fix that since next spring I have a large dirt project i want to do with my Yanmar. I wish you luck with your Kubota. It is fun to dig in soft soil though. Its like a hot knife in butter.

Well it looks like you don't have to worry about sinking in the mud!

You just need bigger equipment. Somebody recently posted a picture of a Cat D-11R with a single ripper tooth! That might deal with your problem!
