    Kioti ck40hst removal detent

Good Morning all, I have searched this thread but all I find are control valves that do not look like mine. The conventional wisdom is that the spring and balls are at the front. But mine does not look anything like the ones that do. Before I pull the assemble apart, has any one worked on this...

I'm in shock... Kubota BX pricing

I know there have been many reply's/pages to this thread. But answering seems some what therapeutic LOL. As folks already mentioned the one culprit, the price of steel. I was looking for a simple 3 pt dump box. Prices here are $1900 + tax. Seven years ago I bought a rear 68" MK Martin snow...

    Buying parts off ebay

Well, I got the cylinder delivered to my door in 4 days. From the Netherlands to here in Canada routed through the USA. Additional charges were $20 duty and a $10 fee ( I am guessing) to process taxes. To do that last part myself would not have been worth it. So slightly more expensive but got...

Thanks! My gut feeling is other then tax there should be minimal to nothing. But my other experiences in life lead to the saying "What can go wrong will" lol

    Buying parts off ebay

I totally agree with you and would love too. Been looking and can't seem to find any close by that sell the size I want. You folks in the US have a much larger retail base to choose from. The specialty stores here are very expensive. Our TSC (now Peavey Mart) doesn't have any, and the main...

Cat 1 Cylinder length Hydraulic top link

Good point. I could just unhook it and measure it fully re-tracked and extended. I think it's about 17.5" re-tracked but I don't remember having anything attached like that. Thinking the 18 to 26 will do.

Cat 1 Cylinder length Hydraulic top link

Sorry folks, Another question regarding replacing the manual top link with a hydraulic one. What is the length of cylinder you are using? I currently have a blower attached and the top link is extended to 21". I realize I can go and remove/install my blade and box blade and rotary mower and...

Replacing manual top link with hydraulic on CUT

I have a rear blower as well but one for reverse. I need to adjust the tilt when I am backing up my lane way as it has a slight incline. If I leave the angle the same as I use on flat ground my skid plates dig up the stone. I really do not enjoy the spring time sport of " lets clean up the...

Replacing manual top link with hydraulic on CUT

Hi Everyone, I was think the other day, as I adjusted the tilt on the blade, that replacing the manual top link with a hydraulic one would be a good idea. Anyone done this and regretted it? Thanks

    What if....?

I think there are many of us with a tractor that are not involved in any substantial farming activities. This would make it easy to asses the value of owning a tractor. I have 50 acres of land and a driveway that is about 250 ft long. I have honeybees I keep so not a livestock that needs a...

    Help with brush clearing

Ok, I have several large patches of thin brush. Mostly lilac, prickly ash and what I refer to as spirea, thin stuff that grows close together and stands about 4-6" tall. So backing up the rotary mower over it is very time consuming not o mention not real happy with the sticks left protruding...

Snow  Snow removal, FEL compared to snow blade.

Hi Everyone, Question regarding snow removal attachments. So I am new to this as I just received my Kioti CK4010 this year:thumbsup:. I have a rear mount blower and the FEL as my set up now. I finally have the blower set up so it removes the right amount of snow for me, with out removing all...

    Scraper blade

Hi All, Just got my first tractor and a farmer down the road was kind enough to give me an old scraper blade he had sitting in the back 40. Besides the rust and the wear on the holes for rotating and locking the blade in being somewhat oblong (no longer round) it's not bad. I took my grinder...

Ballast  To load or not to load. That is the question.

Well, finally pulled the pin and bought a new CK4010H. Should be getting it next week. Had a couple of the farmers stop by for a pop and both gave me a tongue lashing for not loading the tires :) In their own words. You'll be sorry. What is everyone else experience with this? I will be...

Differences in DK35SE between model years?

Hello Everyone, Could anyone tell me if there were any changes in the DK35 SEH between years? So for example, comparing an 08 to a 2011 will they both be the same tractor? Or did Kioti tweak things a bit. Thanks

    Tractor Sizing  FEL power requirment.

So I'm comparing the lifting capabilities of the different tractors. What quantity does a 5' and 6' bucket hold in yards? If we can agree that 1 cubic yard of sand weights about 2600 Lbs and the bucket can hold (lets say) a half yard then I would need enough power to lift 1300 lbs. Am I...

    Comparing 1635 vs JD3520 and Boomer35

I am comparing the 1635 to the John Deer 3520 and New Holland Boomer 35. The 1635 has a greater front lift (1900 lbs) vs JD @1600 and NH @1300. That's significant. Also I noticed that the Lift at the 3 pt hitch is different. Now this is where I'm not sure, what is meant by "lift capacity at...

    Comparison  1533 vs 1635

Hello Everyone, I'm new to this forum and have been lurking reading all the excellent info about Massey tractors.
