anyone using a WoodMaxx blower??

No experience with them. Read their website and Watched the second demo video down from the top. Looks to be a nicely made blower . . . but, it sure seems like the throw is fairly limited, maybe 20 feet. I need a blower to throw at least 30 feet, more is better.

The B2750 front mount blower I currently have is lightly built compared to the WoodMaxx. It makes up for that by really bangin' the snow out there!

Actually, the woodmax is made in China. I called them and asked. I'm trying to decide between the Braber from Northern Tool or the Woodmax. I was told the Woodmax has no shearpin protecting the auger whereas the Braber does.

Woodmaxx has a shear bolt in the driveline. I just ordered one. The new ones will have a power shoot tilt and rotate option. I have one of their power feed chippers and am satisfied with the quality and service.

My woodmaxx just arrived. When I start to take it out of the crate I'll post pix. So far looks like a well made implement.

This is it. Very well made compared to some that I have seen at dealers heavier, it is out and mounted tomorrow need to cut drive shaft and hook up the electric for rotation and tilt.
Think next I'll need some side mirrors to save the neck.

Chinese imports. Im curious how it works out.

Price wise, its no bargain considering COO. Canadian made and well proven Agrotrends or Pronovost Lynx's should be in that range or less.

Tractor Mounted Snowblowers, Tractor Mount, Pronovost Snow Blowers Winter Specials - Fort Equipment Moncton, Dieppe, Memramcook, Amherst, NB, NS, Pronovost Lynx, Pronovost Puma, Pronovost, Walco, KMP, Woods

I looked at several including what you listed. I have a cab and no hydro in the rear needed electric rotation which either was not offered or more expensive.
It was designed by and first fabricated by woodmaxx in the US it is, as I stated, a very heavy, solid piece. But I could only compare to the ones I looked at locally.

The loss of US manufacturing capability aside, a lot of Chinese stuff is excellent, both in build quality and price, though not all it of course. Even John Deere small tractors are imported, from India . . . sometimes it's hard to buy American even if one wants to. I wouldn't be too quick to bad mouth imports.

I would like to add that I have a 72" blower on the way Monday and did a lot of research and decided this blower will fit my needs.. Plus you cannot go wrong with free shipping.. Yes the blower was designed in the USA and built in China.. This company also builds the best 3Pt wood chipper in the US.. We will be running this blower on our brand new New Holland 3045 Super Suite tractor.. It is so much nicer clearing out 1.5 mile road in a cab with heat and A/C plus Bluetooth stereo..

I had a problem with my woodmaxx 60SB rear PTO blower. The first 3 times I used it the key slipped from the fan shaft. I contacted woodmaxx all three times and the final time I spoke to Kurt. They sent me out a new blower and I couldn't be happier this one works great and Kurt is a gentleman and wanted to make it right. Good company to work with.
