One thing to bear in mind about a diagnosis of Meniere's, which is that it covers several quite different variants. That's not unusual for many diseases in my experience.

I think that the major tipoff for me is if one treatment doesn't work for all patients, there are disease variants, and I would argue, disease variants of significance. As more and more diseases get genetically tested, the science tends to pretty uniformly back it up.

Caffeine or salt can trigger an attack.

Had another event this morning. Had to crawl out of bed to the bathroom to puke. Fell on my side a couple times. You haven't experienced vertigo until you have the Meniere's kind. Wife sleeping in another room because I've started snoring so loud. So I finally woke her and she got me a valium. They seem to be the only thing that helps. I spent all day yesterday moving soaker hoses around the landscaping and then mowed the yard. Thought I was over it. Guess I was wrong.

Got an appointment at Shea Clinic for next Tuesday. Gonna go prepared to spend the time for the three day treatment.

This changes a lot of plans I had made for the fall.
