As of July 16, I became a grandpa. Daughter had my first grand baby on her own birthday. I have Mahindra and son in law has Kubota but what about this?

Officially 73 degrees, overcast, 16 mph NORTH breeze this afternoon. And I've gotten about 2/3 inch of rain since midnight last night. Unbelievable for the last day of July. I love it!

Mr. Bird;

Please send some of that rain south to Colorado County. Getting a bit dry and dusty here.

I'm west of you straight out I-10. It started raining her about an hour ago. It's off and on, but it's something.

Scott;

Seeing thunderheads building to my west so .......... waiting, waiting, waiting.

Think the the big rain up by College Station will go SE and miss us and go towards Houston. Have a great sprinkler system at our Houston town house so need no rain there. Need it here!

FarmGirl has been MIA lately. Maybe she has given up on rain dancin' and is now perfecting cloud seeding? Anyone check on increased dry ice sales in her area?

:-D. Hope so and hope it works for all of us!

I got up this morning and per usual turned on the puter and the tv in the office. I heard something on the news about last night's storm and peeked outside at the deck to see if it was wet. It was. I almost fell over when I looked up at the rain gauge over the arbor and it read almost three inches.

Wylie Texas, 2.8 inches this storm. Farmersville, 3.6". Garland, 1.6"

We were blessed.

We got a nice 1 5/8" rain yesterday and it has been very dry so it really soaked in. They're predicting 20% chance today so that means scattered. At 0530 it's 68* and the high today will be 81*.......My kind of August day.

It poured at Hobby Airport between midnight and 2am. We had 4 inches of water flowing across the ramp. I know, cause I got stuck out in an aircraft on the ramp!

Only 1/4 inch when I got home, in the rain gage.
hugs, Brandi
