I got my problem contained at the Dodge dealer. Just stay away from Austin for a few days. Thanks for the offer. I am fixin' to pack up and go get a rental car.

Yesterday was a bad transportation day. We had our monthly gravel road flat tire. Discount Tire knows me well. They diagnosed the jagged puncture as a rock tear.
Our county commissioner's response when asked about blacktopping our 100+ year old county gravel road was for us to get 10 ply tires. Do they even make 10 ply tires?

Yep, I run them on my truck and trailers. Bad enough with the heat in the summer on tires and I still get a few flats (usually) on the heavier trailer though) Load range "E" iirc.

TXdon--Remember the Commissioner's comment when election time rolls around. We had a Commissioner here get the boot last time because he treated the job as part-time, and his roads showed it. TXdon you should run.........I know you would do a better job.

That's too much like like a full time job. I wouldn't be able to take off at a moments notice to do any neat projects.

Don, I roasted myself some Lee County peanuts today. Home roasted with a little butter and salt beats anything I can find in the stores. Thanks for the peanuts.

If we have another project remind me in advance to call my cousin to open the store. They keep them in cold storage there so they should be fresh any time of the year. Harvey is due for some more also. (I like posting that Harvey works for peanuts.)

I think they told me years ago at the Lee County Peanut Company that the peanuts would keep in the refrigerator for a year and in the freezer indefinitely. So I always put them in one quart ziplock bags (2# in a bag) and put them in the freezer, then roast one bag of them at a time when I want them.

Now this took me a while to figure out.
At first I thought you were talking about my you-tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc4lKRh2SpI where I was replaced at 2 minutes by my stunt dancer, then I saw the post on Jim's Lift and got it.

What had happened was we wanted to explain via text message to Mikim where the new location of the lift was.

As of July 16, I became a grandpa. Daughter had my first grand baby on her own birthday. I have Mahindra and son in law has Kubota but what about this?
