Printing

Maybe I'm missing something simple. And if so , please be gentle when you tell me I'm an idiot. But I can't get things to print right any more. I found where the "print thread" had moved from the top to the bottom of the page, and it will bring up a second window so I can print. But the printed output has the RH part of the text missing. It is missing in preview mode also. I poked around my profile a bit, but didn't find anything there. So the magic handshake is.... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Kevin, I hadn't had occasion to print anything off the new forums until now, so I tried it and I have the same problem you do. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I switched to landscape mode and got all the text.

Also changed the Paper Size to Letter and it printed in Portrait mode OK.

OK, landscape worked for me, too, and I also found that if I just go to the page setup and change the default margins from .75" to .25", I get it all in the portrait mode.

I clicked on "print thread" and the whole page shows up. I checked the print preview and the whole page is there. I printed it using default settings (portrait) and the whole page was printed. Hmmm.... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Wonder what is different for me?

Chris, what do you have the margins set for on "page setup"? It's all there for me, too, with the .25" margins, but not with the .75" margins.

My margins are set at .25". Is that not the default setting? Maybe that explains why I was able to see and print the whole page without making adjustments. Come to think of it, I adjusted the margins a month or so ago when I was printing out my brokerage account statements. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif In any event, you are right that it will print the entire page in portrait mode with the margins adjusted to .25".
