My well water is terrible. Should I just use pool water?

My experience is that just 100’ apart, a well can have totally different water qualities.
Interesting, with your demonstrated expertise in water, that you not know that you can’t dismiss localized water quality issues over an assessment of a large area internet data map.
Apparently you missed the next thing he said.... "Stranger things have happened."

Our well water is rough too, though not quite as extreme. I totally get why you’d consider using the pool as a buffer system. It’s actually a creative idea, especially with the off-gassing and sediment settling, but I’d be cautious. Pool chemicals, even at safe swimming levels, aren’t meant for daily consumption. Also, maintaining consistent water quality for drinking and bathing could get tricky.

@wilso so where are you located, and which version of the JD 5310 do you have?

@strantor any luck with your water?

All the best,

Peter
