Very nicely done. Love how natural it looks!!! Will this be your last building or do you have plans for other structures using similar materials?

I really like the way that turned out.

What species logs?

Finished up the shed with siding milled from the property with the portable mill. Did metal roofing and put in lights and outlets. All set! <img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=452438"/> <img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=452439"/>

I hope to use simular methods to construct a new horse barn in the near future. We are blessed with plenty of locust trees, which tend to both grow straight, and resist rot well. Plan to start harvesting trees for the project when the weather breaks.

Very nice.

It appears you have some logs in the ground. What were your thoughts about the risk of them rotting?
