Challenger MT655E, Massey Ferguson 7495, Challenger MT555D, Challenger MT535B Krone 4x4 XC baler, 2-Kubota ZD1211’s, 2020 Ram 5500 Cummins 4x4, IH 7500 4x4 dump truck, Kaufman 35’ tandem 19 ton trailer, Deere CX-15, Pottinger Hay mower, NH wheel rak
Sold one of the smaller Kubotas (M135X) a few weeks ago.
Have a Challenger MT535B with a Quicke Q66 loader coming in to replace it in a week or 2. Pretty much the same as a MF7475 with a Caterpillar diesel instead of a Sisu diesel.
Key reasons for the change are: CVT transmission, 35% more weight, stronger loader, road speed (32MPH) and larger tires.
It also has a nicer cab, hydraulic global quick attach on loader, stronger AC, steerable front fenders, electronic loader joystick and more.
Its got more PTO and drawbar HP than the Kubota, too.
I am importing it from a dealer in Canada. It was a huge PITA to complete the import documents, but will save quite a bit over anything I could find in the US.

Now to see what she will do. I need to be able to move large squares around with more stability than the Kubotas can offer. Still have the M126X for bush hogging and of course any other raking, teddering, etc.

Couple pics.

I do believe CAT engine = Perkins, is that right?

Nice tractor but I'd rather have the Sisu, and I'd much rather have either one over a Kubota engine.

How did you get the little "ghost tractor" water mark in the pics? ;-)

I looked for another Massey for a while, but couldn't pass up on this one. The price was good and the hours pretty low. Condition is good.

The Challengers and Masseys mostly come from the same AGCO factory in Beauvais, France.

Prefer the Sisu diesels, too. My Massey has one and it’s fantastic.

Listed as a 6.6L Caterpillar diesel.

I've brought four tractors in from Canada, never had to do any paperwork. We have a free trade agreement on farm equipment with Canada.

All they were worried about, is that the tractors were, CLEAN!

I had to fill out several forms and send in EPA information. Obviously a farm tractor. Plenty of fees, too.

Newer tractor had to confirm that the "proper" emission equipment was on the tractor for US use.

Thanks ptsg
Not a big deal, but it would be nice if the AGCO brands farmers all over the country use were more represented here.
Challenger, Fendt and Valtra have no representation on TBN

Not many on here with more then 60 HP in any brand and very few with 100 HP+

Kubota I believe is the most talked about brand on here but you never hear about their M8 which is only half the size of the behemoths AGCO makes.

AGCO and Deere are the only two American owned [farm] tractor company's left.

I do like my AGCO tractors; mine have been good to me.

Agree, but I was just thinking this is “Tractor By Net”, not “Kubota Tractor by Net” or “Small Tractor by Net”.
Maybe if more of the bigger brands had more representation, they could get a more broad range of tractor owners?

Fendt, Challenger and Valtra are 3 of AGCO’s 4 tractor brands.
Only one (Massey Ferguson) has a presence here, yet AGCO is one of the only 2 American tractor companies left and is a HUGE player in the tractor world.

But we have a “Ventrac” forum

AGCO does have some nice tractors and it would be nice to see more representation of the bigger tractors on here.
But, there are very few farm or even farm related posters on here.
It is mostly small acreage owners with smaller tractors.

That said sitting here thinking about and remembering when Fiat bought into Allis Chalmers (the good Orange) and then eneded
up getting out of it because they couldn't bid on any government contracts being foreign owned at the time.
And then I'm partial to Red from the Farmall days so now it's CIH even though they are owned by Fiat now.

Is Valtra available in the US? Great tractors as well. Those are almost everywhere here, mostly on logging applications pulling a log trailer with a log crane. Probably due to the reversible platform.

1st off, congrats. I'll never need anything that big for myself, but it reminds me of the big IH stuff dad used to sell.

I think we definitely need to rework the specific brand forums. Cub Cadet and RK have their own sections, but CaseIH and TYM are grouped with the 'other' tractors.

Manufacturers should have their groups. Fiat stuff should be in one big heading as should the Agco. Subheadings for major brands. TYM group should be up there with Branson as a subheading. Hasn't been a new Ford tractor in over 20 years. New Holland will do.

Another grouping for 'store brands' like RK and Montana.

Attachments needs to be a standalone category with sub headings by brand and/or type.

Either have a section for vintage tractors or leave them under the manufacture. JD has its own Vintage section?

Valtra tractors are available in the US, but there's not a huge number of dealers around, AGCO has focused on Massey here in the states.

Does anyone know what models or series of tractors are assembled in the Jackson, MN assembly plant? Pretty sure the tracked challengers are but what wheeled models?

ARound here you see Fendt, Challenger, Massey, Allis, White, Gleaner combines.

And Fendt. Big time. My dealer has more Fendts going out their driveway than Masseys.

I really don’t know of a much better tractor than a Fendt with a MANN diesel engine.
A step down, but still very very good is a Massey with a SISU diesel.
