I have been working on a 30'x44' metal quonset hut style building for about 13 months or so.
It has been a long and expensive project.
The building is up, I have the power and water hooked up and I am close to getting the heat hooked up.
Right now I am in the process of applying spray foam insulation. I am using a two part urethane foam.
I was wondering if anyone has had any experiance with this material. I purchased 6 kits for $3500.
I had recieved quotes for over $8000 from local contractors to insulate this building. I am so far over budget on this project that every $ I can save is a big help.

Rims-

Sorry that I can't help. It would be great if you could post your findings and results. From what I've heard, insulating Q huts is always a challenge. A buddy of mine has one that he would like to insulate. I'm sure that he and many readers would benefit from your findings!

Best,

Mark

Only thing I do know make sure the foam will not burn or cover it with something had a local mining co use foam on the inside of there welding shop couple of years back not far from me found out it was very flammable very ugly around there for about a hour or so that day /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
