I've not seen one of those "push-in vents" that come with the new nozzles that didn't leak. And half the time the threads on the replacement nozzle don't match my gas cans.
Same here. I will say, the vent seems to leak less over time. I don't know if it's possible the plastic swells when gas hits it or what. Might just be my wishful thinking....

I wonder if going down one size from the recommended drill bit to make the hole would help?

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Now the question is, will the prices for a 5-gallon plastic can drop from $32 back to $12 like they once were.

NOT. :sneaky:

As I interpret the release, they are only saying manufacturers can add a vent, but the spring loaded shut off funnel mess is still there?

A vent is a good idea to bring back. I never did like Dutch Ovens and blankets.

No, up is the direction all the prices have been going lately.
Faux News.
Not diesel fuel.
It’s way down and the whole country still runs on #2.
I’m paying $2.99.
It was $3.50-$4.50 2022-2024.

So there’s that….
