Kioti ck25 4/4 not working

The front axle is leaking fluid and the front wheel drive stopped working. If I continue to use tractor in 2 wheel drive will it do more damage to the front axle. Wondering if I could or should remove front drive shaft. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Len

I'm not that knowledgeable on tractor front axle types, but I suspect most, if not all of the components are rotating whether the 4 wheel drive is engaged or not.
I would not use the tractor until repaired

Yes, all the front axle drive train components keep spinning even with the 4x4 disengaged, so if there is, for instance, a bad bearing or broken gear, it can cause even more damage to the rest of the axle.

Is it mechanical engaging 4x4 or is there an electronic switch to engage 4x4.

If its electronic it may be a simple relay issue.
