Good morning!!!!

Good morning all.
Had a good night last night and got some decent rest.
It's the weekend and I bet many of you will be busy.
Hope Sophie is doing ok, Mollala is on the mend, and Jay, oh Jay hope you are doing ok.
Jays posts are always insightful and interesting, smart man with a bunch of medical issues we all wish him well with.

Rick and Don, you guys seem to have full time jobs cleaning up trees there. Thank goodness for grapples. Sounds like if you didn't keep at it,
that brush would simply take over the place.

because of my back, I never found bike riding comfortable, put too much strain on lower back, but sure seems like it would be wonderful fun to get out there in fresh air, get the heart pumping, wonderful exercise. And the women in those skin tight outfits, must keep eyes on road...;) I do wish some bike riders would be more careful about not hogging the road, riding side by side, makes it dangerous to get around them, always worried about clipping someone with side mirror. Bike lanes are really good ideas, and I do believe in sharing the road.

68 degrees going up to 81 today. Fairly wet weather pattern, thunderstorms most days, had some nice boomers yesterday. I bet it's making a lot of lawns go crazy around here. Hopefully enough dry time that Buppies can get some work done.

Drew is the no outside for as long as you are there? Likely unless covid restrictions lifted, and NC is an unhappy state for that, with nursing homes/assisted living places the most paranoid of them all. They just don't want the bad bugs in...nor do I want to be restricted to my room for two weeks, without even the ability to walk in courtyard. Only time I get outside is to get in van to go to hospital for treatment or tests. Which will be next Tuesday. Chemo is every three weeks, but weekly testing in between. Hospital is less than mile away and drive is through one doc office building after another, not all that scenic. What I would love is to drive to local park and be able to walk long distances, take some pictures, get some fresh air. So my world is about 370sf. I have never been a patient person, always on the go, most of you know that by now, and all this inaction is challenging. How does one keep busy and occupied? At some point I get sick of surfing Youtube, though trying to concentrate on History Channel stuff now. Other than watching car accident videos (seems to be an unending number of them) any suggestions for interesting viewing will be appreciated. Maybe I can find some cooking shows, but that will just make me hungry... Always like to learn, so need to find something that challenges my mind.

Waiting for coffee to finish brewing. 57° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 91° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Had a great birthday. Thanks all for the wishes. Especially like Facetime with family and friends. My 8 year old GGD who shares my birthday was the best.
Couple of yard projects before it gets too hot outside today. Windows need cleaning again.

Drew, I have been hit with a couple of CC hacks. Never lost any money. Just the inconvenience of not being able to use the card until another one arrived. I did get hit with the TurboTax one where someone filed on my taxes using them. Got free Experian for 2 years. Another hacked site. When traveling for up to 6 months each year like I did 13 years. The only way to go is internet. I hate going to banks/credit unions for any transaction. Have you tried some of the various games available for computers. Special prayers sent.

Jay, hope you are doing OK.

Bird, posted yesterday.

Mollala, prayers your recovery is going good.

RS, good to hear tractor is back running with FEL.

Rick, I see some of your photos are not accessible.

Buckeye, great evening picture.

Kyle the roach killer.

Rich, hope you get internet back up and running. I spent so many years working from home it was hard to work when I had to got to the office. to many interruptions.

Everyone be safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

Good morning all. Struggling to post anything with pictures again, TBN has been logging me out before I can hit the submit button.

Excavator is making steady progress in the wetland. Steady is good, much better than stuck. Heavy rains have brought the water level up by almost a foot since starting, so much for this being done while it was "dry". Pictures were taken at the end of the day, when the digger was back on "firmer" ground, with the mud mats only just below water level. At other times it has been a little scary.

Wng I can just imagine Coco laughing if you didn't try a boomerang and have been chasing after the frisbee yourself each morning

66 and foggy, had several storms yesterday and last night, knocked out power for a minute. Should see more rain and 82.

RNG, had to look up Laphroaig...never heard of it, and of course, Costco doesn't sell liquor in Virginia, where the state retains a monopoly on all alcohol except wine and beer. One governor, about 10 years ago, proposed selling off the ABC store monopoly and IIRC, the estimate was $.5 billion and growing by the time it was killed.

Also, thanks for thinking of Coco and suggesting Dinovite. We've heard the Dinovite commercials for years, too, and got interested. It's a supplement, and all of its ingredients are already added into the high quality food we feed Coco now, so we've not gone that route...trying to keep things as stable as possible while the derm vet figures it out.

Roy, Happy Rifle Day!

BEF, sad your big redbud is dying. My wife tells me I make friends with every tree we have and get to know them well, so sorry you are losing one.

Buppies, not quite webbed, but maybe these will help... :)

Me fetching my own throws is exactly how it's working, but she is hiding her laugh.

Pond clean up looking good. Buppies may need your excavator next...oh wait, he has that mini-ex.
