Good morning all.
Had a good night last night and got some decent rest.
It's the weekend and I bet many of you will be busy.
Hope Sophie is doing ok, Mollala is on the mend, and Jay, oh Jay hope you are doing ok.
Jays posts are always insightful and interesting, smart man with a bunch of medical issues we all wish him well with.
Rick and Don, you guys seem to have full time jobs cleaning up trees there. Thank goodness for grapples. Sounds like if you didn't keep at it,
that brush would simply take over the place.
because of my back, I never found bike riding comfortable, put too much strain on lower back, but sure seems like it would be wonderful fun to get out there in fresh air, get the heart pumping, wonderful exercise. And the women in those skin tight outfits, must keep eyes on road...
I do wish some bike riders would be more careful about not hogging the road, riding side by side, makes it dangerous to get around them, always worried about clipping someone with side mirror. Bike lanes are really good ideas, and I do believe in sharing the road.
68 degrees going up to 81 today. Fairly wet weather pattern, thunderstorms most days, had some nice boomers yesterday. I bet it's making a lot of lawns go crazy around here. Hopefully enough dry time that Buppies can get some work done.
Drew is the no outside for as long as you are there? Likely unless covid restrictions lifted, and NC is an unhappy state for that, with nursing homes/assisted living places the most paranoid of them all. They just don't want the bad bugs in...nor do I want to be restricted to my room for two weeks, without even the ability to walk in courtyard. Only time I get outside is to get in van to go to hospital for treatment or tests. Which will be next Tuesday. Chemo is every three weeks, but weekly testing in between. Hospital is less than mile away and drive is through one doc office building after another, not all that scenic. What I would love is to drive to local park and be able to walk long distances, take some pictures, get some fresh air. So my world is about 370sf. I have never been a patient person, always on the go, most of you know that by now, and all this inaction is challenging. How does one keep busy and occupied? At some point I get sick of surfing Youtube, though trying to concentrate on History Channel stuff now. Other than watching car accident videos (seems to be an unending number of them) any suggestions for interesting viewing will be appreciated. Maybe I can find some cooking shows, but that will just make me hungry... Always like to learn, so need to find something that challenges my mind.
