Very nice flag/pole toppop. Are you going to lower it every evening or put a light on it?

Solar light, Don.

Low 80's yesterday, mid 70's today.

Drew, the CSA flag mounts under the USA flag, sir! ;)

Wngsprd, almost 2 years ago I started a rehab project on a 1973 Marlin jet boat the my father in law purchased new. After his death my brother in law had it wrapped in a tarp for almost 20 years and never moved it. After new floor, transom, jet drive, seats, complete paint job, motor, gauges, gas tank, wiring, steering wheel, ect. It should be water ready by the end of May the only original part is the gas peddle. Having the trailer sandblasted and painted next week. Guess you can call it a labor of love because I love my bride and she is thrilled her dads boat is back! ( cost me more than it cost new in 73. But the best part when I stopped at the marine repair shop he had a very nice and clean party boat, pontoon, for sale it's being delivered next week. Now to tell the truth I'm a little concerned if I had a horse and saddle or tractor I'm all set but a boat I could be dangerous🤔

Sorry about all the posting, but I had to talk jet boats! In the 80's before I bought my Donzi, I had several other boats, my favorite of those was a 1976 Sleekcraft 19' Kauai. It had a Berkeley pump and a 454 Chevy engine, I did a crash course on jet drives and learned some stuff. With a lot of help from Mr. Marine in Houston, formerly in Memphis, I got the pump, align bored, clearanced and all the good stuff, installed a AA stainless impeller, a droop snoot, intake shoe and other stuff, then built a 525 h.p. Motor to go with it. I was cruising the Wicomico River and accidentally ran through a line Cormorants. The boat started slowing down and didn't act right, I stopped and pulled the clean out cover, it was full of black feathers! :D
Now, please tell us about the Marlin, and a pic wouldn't hurt either!

Perhaps we are finally past our water/septic problems. Cleaned master shower valve again last night (it was dripping)... seems ok now. I was not able to solder properly for some reason when we added whole house sediment filter so used the "sharkbite" type fittings to get water back on... Seems my flux may have been the cause (will fully test/practice my soldering before doing any more). Whole fiasco moved up plan to replace house plumping with PEX. We already have manifold system so will go with that again, but will get the gray plastic replaced before we have failures.

PJS, take care of your back. My wife has some exercises that she tries to do on a regular basis to keep back problems away.

Dewberry cobbler recipe "Straight Up Food" by Cathy Fisher - easy plant based cooking without salt, oil, or sugar.
Delicious! This might take the place of pies it's so easy.

60 going to . DABSGT, I like the description of your boat. Why is there a blue stripe in your flag? .

The blue stripe represents "The Thin Blue Line" for law enforcement, 33 years in law enforcement and my son has just started his career. If you see one with a red stripe that is for firefighters. It shows that anyone with a badge is welcome, that also goes for anyone with a tractor!!!
