The boy's ad on marketplace for the trailer. Didn't get to post the tractor before dark. Honestly, I thought I was better then a lot of ads on FB Market.
Expect to pay…approx? Smooth talk, show me on paper. After I left dealer, and made a U turn on 4 lane; I called back to ask about insurance prices. He said for a roughly $20,000 package; expect insurance to be approx $1800 over life of the 60 month loan.

That’s still $30/month or $360 a year, I think you can do much better. Dollar for dollar I’m paying less than that. You’re at about $1.50/month per $1k financed, I’m at $0.81/month per $1k financed through Travelers.
So, I pretty much am 90% settled on the Ck2610, but one thing. It lists top speed of like 10.6mph; when a lot of the other similar machines are up around 14-15mph. Has anyone had a CK2610, and really found this to be a limitation. I'm not planning on driving to the gas station and all; but if want to run it 5 miles down the road to my mom's property; I might want too. I do have a perfectly capable truck and trailer. Just wondering if anybody travel speed a limitation.

He just sold the trailer this morning for $500; and posted the tractor last night, asking $2500. Fighting with my self a bit; I want to go make a deal; but I know I Really should sell the L285 first, while I want too. If I get the new one first, I'm going to get relaxed about selling out, and 9 months from now, it will still be here. The boy's ad on marketplace for the trailer. I was happy about that. I kept my Ford 917L 48-52" flail mower and my Frontier 6 ft box blade. Sent the home made single bottom plow with him. That was quick.
The equivalent LS is the MT225E; there is the smaller MT225S, that's a nice machine too. John Deere's offering in this market is the 3025E and 3025D; they're actually separate machines despite seeming so similar.
Also, still got to fly the flag here, the Kioti CK2620 (or CK2610 if you can find one) is worth a look.
Really, they're all respectable tractors, and it really comes down to which one you feel the most comfortable with. Be it physical comfort, or the comfort that comes with a good dealer.
I’m not so sure. I see a lot of used implements being advertised that aren’t much of a discount from new. Then it’s often difficult to find used implements that are the size you need.I suspect you get hosed on the purchase price buying new implements from a dealer compared to buying used from individuals or at farm equipment auctions.
Not just size. I don't want to spend 1000s of dollars on anything if I cannot get exactly what I want. I haven't the patience to wade through auctions and sales to find the size and options that I want. Like Slip Clutch vs shear pins. Also, sometimes used implements are hard to distinguish the economy model from the standard or premium. Certainly difficult online.I’m not so sure.
