New 25hp tractor purchase

So, on fitting in tight spaces; Lets dig into that; if we are strictly speaking of physical width length, vs the B7100; OK, valid, and there is no cheating width; if you have a 54" gate, the CK2620 isnt going to work for you.

However, if we are talking about maneuvering in tight areas; you can probably get turned around, work, and maneuver better this a Ck2620 HST than the 6Ă—2 manual on that B7100. I just had mine inside some form boards grading for an 18x20 slab, and yes, there is a fair bit of backing/forward, ect; but vs my old L285 8x2; i can Work in a much smaller space.

All of the features? Where do you see them? In the link you added to the quote?

Are we talking compact or subcompact? If we're talking compact tractors, there is NO WAY I'd buy a 25 HP model unless it's a manual shift gearcase. Been there, done that, never again....

You have my curiosity, why only a manual shift? Assuming dry clutch shuttle, you see tractors crapped at 800 hours over a clutch

I should correct that, sold in non-running line of auction, for scrap value

Yeah I’m wondering the same. There are far more clutch replacements than HST transmission issues. And most 25 hp manual transmission tractors have those crappy dry clutch collar shift transmissions without a live PTO.

The only advantage I can see of a manual gear shift transmission on a 25 HP tractor is that there will be a couple more PTO HP available over the HST ...

However if you choose wisely some manufacturers have a better/higher PTO HP than others ... Even JD last year was able to bump there PTO HP up a couple of notches in the HST tractors ...

My Little Baby Fergie a GC 1725 MB SCUT has 19.6 PTO HP it runs a 5" brush hog!

Mission creep... Blackcreek Tractor has a DK4520, shuttle, brand new for $25,000; and every time I see the add, I start thing, "hmm, I shouldn't, should I, nah, but maybe".

Because a compact tractor, with 25 HP non-turbo engine, and HST transmission has NO power. It's miserable. I took mine back same month I bought it determined to either go up to 40 HP HST or swap to a stick shifter. Thankfully dealer was willing to play ball and move me up to a 40 HP HST. Even this one struggles in high range with the FEL and an implement on the back, but it gets the job done.

My last dry clutch tractor had 2000 hours and counting with no clutch work done to it when I traded it off. And we beat on that poor tractor hard for years.
