I've owned a 2008 Mahindra 4110 for the last 11 years and it's been decent but over the years my needs have changed and recently it has started to have issues that have required sinking more money into it than I'd like. So I'm looking to upgrade a bit, possibly buying new but also open to looking at very lightly used tractors. Before I start setting foot at any dealerships, I thought I'd post here to get some advice. Here is a bit of info about my use and other important factors
Located in Maine, and most dealers are at least 40 minutes away. Closest dealer is a JD which I don't really have interest in. I have the following dealers under an hour from me; Mahindra, Kioti, Kubota, LS. And a bit further afield Massey and TYM. I'm not interested in any of the other brands (Branson, Bad Boy, etc.)
I own ~60 acres and we run a small farm on the property, the tractor will mostly be used for following in order of usage amount: Loader work moving livestock feed (sometimes 1 ton pallets or slings of grain, occasional round bales, etc.), snow blowing in winter (rear mount blower) mowing sloping pastures with a bush hog and/or flail mower), and occasional other uses of moving items around the property. Potential future uses are skidding logs and using a grapple for logs and brush removal in my ~30 acres of woods.
My ideal tractor would be a bit more powerful than the 4110, have the ability to safely and easily lift a full ton, be able to fit my existing rear implements that are all based on the 4110's 72" width (the snowblower and the mowers) and ideally have a cab (for comfort in winter snow removal). Otherwise I don't have other preferences. I'm partial to Mahindra due to it being the only brand I know, and Kubota and Kioti due to brand recognition and my experience using those machines on farms I worked on previously. But I'm not locked into anything in particular. Online I've so far narrowed down my search to possibly the Mahindra 2660 cab, Kioti NX or RX series, and the Kubota M6060.
